Really cool
This stuff is crazy. It feels like the clay you played with as a child. It's easy to mix. There are two separate plastic containers in the box, both full of a clay-like compound. Put on gloves. Grab about the same amount from each container. Combine them in your hands. Then put the clay on whatever area needs repair. It's easy to work with and dries solid as a rock. It has stuck to everything I've used it on. I used it to fill deep holes on a doorway where hinges used to be and it worked well. I like that it isn't a liquid and it isn't grainy. It also doesn't really have much of a smell. The only advice I'd give you is not to be too heavy handed. It sands beautifully, but it creates a lot of dust.

the BEST product on the market but too expensive
Hello,I am going through the renovation of my house and I have a lot of rotten woods and beams that I need to take care of.I tried multiple Wood Epoxy products on the market but I have to say that SculpWood Putty Epoxy Filler is by far the best in its category. When you mixed the 2 based epoxy together, the product becomes very nice and soft to work with. Most of products have a texture that is too sticky and liquid but this product doesn't stick all over your hands and gloves and it is like a dough. Very nice to apply and much easier to work with.It adheres and glues great to the wood and it hardens and dries within 6 to 8 hours unlike some other products that take more than 24 hours. As you can see in the picture, I used some small wood parts to fill the big gaps in the rotten beam and applied this product all around the parts so it stick and fills all the empty gaps within the beam.I really LOVE the product, again it is the BEST but unfortunately it's expensive.

Incredible Wood Filler and Structural Patching Material
This is the most amazing stuff in the world.I have used Bondo, plastic wood (wood filler) and other products in the past to fix holes in wood. This time I was faced with the job f filling in a large hole in my door to replace an ancient handleset with a new modern one. The holes required are entirely different geometry and I thought I was going to have to cut up pieces of wood to match the old cut-outs, then piece them in and glue them. The main hole was way to large for Bondo - and being down by the sea I also worried that the shrinking and swelling of the door might eventually lead to cracking. When I described the challenge, a friend of mine recommend this product to me.I could not have been more pleased with it's performance. It's simple to mix because you just have to mix equal parts. It stays pliable and workable for about 4-6 hours, so there's plenty of time to scrape and mold once you get it in place. It handles like play-dough, soft and pliable, but with enough body to support itself. It's very light and cures in about 24 hours rock solid.I was concerned about it's ability to adhere since it's really not all that sticky when you work with. You will want to wear plastic gloves because there are chemical reactions involved here, but it's really no more sticky than play-dough. So I took some leftover and made a couple little balls about 1" in diameter and (a) placed them gently together (like a snow man) and (b) placed them gently on a slab of wood. The next day, once they cured, tried to break them apart. I needed to hit the little figure with a hammer to remove it from the wood slab and never was able to cleanly break apart the balls, so the adhesion I was worried about is a non-issue. This stuff sticks well, even to flat surfaces. It cures a light brown color and is much lighter than wood or Bondo when it's done. It sands like wood and can be painted like wood. As my locksmith pointed out, however, it does not chisel like wood, so if you need to make cutouts, it's good to think ahead and mold these when the material is pliable, otherwise you may need a dremel tool to work the small bits.Pros:- easy to mix- easy to work- pliable and workable for 4-6 hours- dries rock hard- sandable and paintable like wood- waterproofCons:- takes 24 hours to cure- does not chisel like wood (tends to shatter)This is definitely my new "go to" patching material for high-use areas.

Cures fast, great for large holes and easy to sand
I had some rotted out parts in the stairs at the front of my home leading up to the front landing. Dug out the rot as best as I could finding solid wood and was left with some very large holes. I tried various products to try to patch it include DAP plastic wood X, but nothing would fully dry it was always a little squishy even when left to dry for multiple days. I picked this up as a last resort and it worked flawless. You have to mix equal parts of the A and B filler then just lay it down with your hands or with the help of a trowel/joint knife to get it a little smooth. I let it set for a day and was a little worried it wasn't going to work because the material is so light and it didn't seem like it would adhere to the wood, but I was wrong. It cured rock solid within a day and was incredible easy to sand (I used a rotary, sand block, and even my dremel and had no issues). Would definitely use this product again and would consider the rest of their wood rot products. Extremely happy with this purchase!

Product - very good; Seller - ?..
Ordered 'System Three Putty' last month for a wood patio project. I had used other types of wood fiiller/putty before, but was not fully satisfied with the workability/outcome/longevity. I had never used the Sys 3 putty previously and was interested in how it would do for this project. Must say that it smells strange upon opening, but after using it, I am quite pleased so far. The putty adheres strongly, is workable, and very sand-able after drying. I went through all of the product and needed a bit more so I ordered it from the seller again. The shipping time was longer than most products from Amazon marketplace for both orders. The 2nd order finally came yesterday and I thought the package was light. Opened it and didn't find any Sys 3 putty, but found a plastic covered cable, although the packing slip said it was the Sys 3 putty, but it wasn't. Tried to get a return for another Sys 3 ship, but it kept saying something is wrong, so I requested a refund instead. Disappointed as my project is on hold, and will have to find another vendor or some other type of exterior high grade wood putty.
