Lickety Klip BLACK - Stops Holes in Tops

I bought several colors of this Klip and was very please with the way it covered the buttons on my jeans, I no longer have the little tab sticking out and creating an unsightly protrusion on my Tees, and so far no more holes. It goes on easy and stays on. I would recommend it to anyone hoping to elimate holes in their tops. I used to get holes on brand new shirts within a few wears and got pretty tired of wasting money on perfect shirts due to the rubbing of the button on my jeans....great solution!

I really wanted this product to work. I am so tired of holes in every shirt that I own so was very pleased to run across the Lickety Klip. It turned out to be a huge disappointment. I think it is a great idea in theory only. I waited until I had used this item for a few weeks before writing a review and I am glad I did. At first glance it seems to be great but like most gimmicks doesn't live up to the hype in a real life test.For starters it is difficult to put on over the button on my Levis. One would think that would mean that it would be secure on your jeans. That is not the case. It works itself off and not just when doing vigorous activity or up against something. I was walking in a grocery store and the darn thing flew off and went under a display unit. It was kind of embarrassing.But here is the biggest kicker. It is hard plastic with, of course, hard corners. Duh. Instead of holes in the center of my shirts where the tab and button are on my jeans there are now holes spaced the width of the Lickety Klip where my shirts rub on the edges of the product. More holes just in a little different place on my shirts.Bottom line - don't waste your money; give this one a pass. Instead buy a belt that has a smooth buckle and position it a little off center. Amazon offers a couple of different options that work great for both men and women.

It is not the button causing the holes folks, it is the zipper tab and metal zipper teeth. This barely covers most zipper tabs, is a bit of a task to get on and is thick enough to stick out and show through every shirt I own. It looks like I have a big belt buckle on under my shirt. I am going the way of ironing interfacing in all my shirts.

I love my Lickety Klip. It is the greatest! It lays flat, it's completely invisible, and makes all of my outfits look great. No more HOLES in my shirts from the nub of my jeans. I would recommend it to anyone!

I really, really, really wanted to like this clip. I have holes in every single shirt I own and have scoured the internet looking for a way to stop it. I have waited months since I bought it to write this review and have tried it periodically during that time hoping I would come to love it. Sadly, I have to say that hasn't been the case. I don't like that it looks like a strange belt buckle under my clothes. I wish it had some give in it so it would be just a tiny bit rounded to contour with your body. Unless you have flat abs that are a little concave, this is going to stick out. As it is, it doesn't move and I found it to be too uncomfortable to wear in addition to it looking odd.

Product is ok. Seems to me the back that touches the skin should not be plastic. It sticks to the skin especially in humid weather.
