No. It's just the regular bottle.

Q: I have an earlier model, to suck with a good flow I have to loosen the lid. Has that design flaw been fixed in this newer version?

I had no issues with my old one with the flow... but the new one works perfect I haven’t had any issues with the flow

Q: I purchased this four months ago and it is leaking badly when shut. Is there any sort of warranty on these? Or can I request a new top?

if you live in the US/Canada your in luck cause your entitled to use Contigo lifetime warranty(but take into account that it will take them a few weeks to respond when opening claim through their website), either way its worth to check with Amazon first(and the fastest too) if they can do something(replace or refund you).good luck.
