Our house is a converted farmhouse, with no heat in the 2nd floor... put this on my 13 year olds bed to help him stay warm during the winter. Works great! IT does have a bit of an annoying rustle, but doesnt bother my kid enough to keep him up. Keeps him toasty warm!

I had a car accident in October and was also diagnosed with cancer. My legs were hurting from the accident and I couldn't relax in bed and would wake up all night because my legs were hurting so bad. I have a electric blanket but didn't help. I saw this product and decided to try it. Because it reflexes my own body heat back it is the perfect heat and it caused my body to relax and I was able to start sleeping all night without waking up in pain. The only complaint is that it slides around between the mattress and the bottom sheet but I am gladly putting up with that because it gives me such a good nights sleep. Because I have cancer I spend a lot of time in bed and my body just seems to relax the moment I crawl into bed.My husband has trouble keeping warm at night and I bought him one and he is able to keep warm all night.My mother is 91 and suffers from arthritis, I bought her one and she is now able to sleep all night and wakes up pain free.

This blanket acts like a very light blanket and the back crunches and is noisy every time you move. It sounded like a great idea, but missed the mark. It does not offer instant heat and it does not reflect body heat. Don't waste your money.

...the crinkle is too loud for use in a in bed. Works pretty well as a throw blanket. Overall the product is OK. .

Interesting blanket/heat saver. It DOES retain heat, but you might get a little more sweaty at night because it isn't as porous as regular blankets. Also, experiment with placement. If you are sleeping in a sleeping bag on colder ground, put it under the sleeping bag. If you are sleeping in a cold room on a warmish bed, put it above you. It is also back pack-able. A cold, sleepless night can be miserable; worth the purchase just for a great nights sleep!

i have circulation issues, and I have cold feet. I ran this along the foot of my bed, under my top sheet. it works amazing. My feet are so warm, and my toy poodles love it too. My dog had an accident and I had to wash it. The foil backing failed, the company replaced it immediately. Now I keep it under my waterproof mattress pad and it still works! Something about that foil layer, it really does raidiate the heat back. I will be back for more to give as gifts....

I don't remember what I did with this blanket - it was not what I expected. and also loud and crinkly.
