I am glad I gave this product a try! This leaves my hair soft and with a nice definition when air-drying. It does work well with the Orange Marmalade product as well. The light, naturally-sweet fragrance of rice pudding is slightly addictive as well. The refrigeration part is a bit annoying but is apparently the price to pay for natural hair products.

Very light weight, pleasant floral scent, I thought the rice water in this product was going to make my hair dry and stiff but it was meat the opposite. I kept this product in the refrigerator I felt like it helped it to last longer. Or maybe helped me not to over Do the amount of product I used at once. Made my hair soft and bouncy. This lasted for about 6 months

Let me preface this by saying that I have wavy fine hair. So I’m not the typical curly girl with more porous hair.It is extremely effective and you don’t need to use a lot. It comes out of the bag kind of fast. The first time I used it, I think I made my hair look oily because the amount I used (what I normally would use in a different brand) was way too much for my fine wavy hair. The moisture level was a lot.I think this is better for someone with highly porous or curlier hair. But the quality, price for the amount you get, and ingredients are top tier.

This product pretty much encompasses everything I've been looking for in a hair product. It detangles in less time and gives enough slip, creates great definition through product alone, and doesn't have any harmful ingredients, and so it preserves the health of my hair. Only thing I'm a little picky about is the package it comes in, but it's not too much of a problem considering it's perks. Still overall very much impressed. I will definitely keep buying from this brand.

I am so in love with this product!! I have 2c-3b color treated, high porosity hair that is just hard to manage. I’m like a product junkie not because I want to be but because I could never find what my hair actually needed. I used this on my hair after it was styled and could not believe how it transformed my dry, unhappy curls! I feel like it even gave me hold that I struggled to get! I am stoked about this product and absolutely will be using it from now on! Just amazing!!

I put it in a spray bottle and spray it on. Works really good. I added water to make it come out of the sprayer better. Don't know if it should be or not, but I did.

I discovered the Ecoslay products during the pandemic and fell in love with the rice pudding leave-in conditioner, but downgraded to cheaper brands when the price increased so much. I saw it on sale and excitedly purchased it, but it is NOT the same formula as it was 4 years ago! Its awful, it makes my hair all gummy, no shine, tacky. I tried it 2 more times, adjusting down the amount I put in, and it didn't matter, it still made my hair feel so gummy, mushy, gross. Very sad they changed this formula, it used to be the best thing I'd ever used on my hair.

I have seborrhoeic dermatitis, an extremely sensitive scalp, and very fine/brittle curly hair. This is the only product that worked for my hair strands. This did not make my hair crunchy or weigh down my hair and it did moisturize my hair. I cannot continue to use it because of the fragrance. What smells good or not is subjective, but the fragrance is extremely strong. It is not lightly scented. It smells like a strong old lady perfume. If you have asthma or are sensitive to fragrance, you will not like this. The way it smells when it left on your hair does not smell good over time either. This would be perfect if there was an unscented version.
