I've ordered several cold containers and could never find one that met all the design elements I wanted.1st, the design I chose on the outside is beautiful. 2nd, it holds exactly the amount of water I need to see me through the night. 3rd, the choice of tops for drinking from the container makes it work well in any situation. I use the screw open one because I can drink from it at any angle and not have to worry about a straw that requires the container to be held upright, also, there's nothing to bump against your nose when you tip it forward to take a drink like some bottles . 4th, there is never any condensation on the outside of the bottle. 5th, it's easy to fill and clean. 6th, it keeps my water cool to cold all night long.For those with other specific preferences, the following might be considered negatives: (1) It's fairly heavy and big around. However, I have small hands and didn't find either of those to be problems. (2) I don't use ice, so while I found the contents stayed very cool, others may expect a colder temperature retention. I don't know about hot drinks because I haven't used it for that purpose yet.I hope this answers some questions you may have. If anything ever happens to this one, I will definitely purchase another just like it.

My kids love their cups. I love that it came with extra straws, which are silicone, so they won’t melt in the dishwasher like others have. Easy to take apart and clean, durable, the outside has held up against many many washes. Good insulation, and there is good seal around the straw, so if it gets knocked over no spill!

I drink a lot of water, and I hate having to fill up my glass so many times at home, and I could go through 8 bottle of water a day at work. I have been searching for an enormous water container that I like but wasn't going to spend more than $10-12. This is one of the best things I have every purchased. Well worth the money.I got the 84oz and it's huge, but the handle on the top is gorgeous and sturdy design that makes it easy to carry. The straw top works okay but sometimes doesn't sip if the straw is at a weird angle. That took me a few days to figure out. But it stays cold all day and holds a lot of water. They have all different sizes and I am thinking about getting my wife one for her birthday (and I would probably be using it more than her!).The metal bottom is a bit heavy and putting it down can cause a good "clank." A full 84oz bottle like that can weigh a good 5-10 lbs. I found the silicone bottom covers they offer as well as different top choices on their website (simplemodern.com). So I am probably going to get some of those but would have definitely already bought if they were offered on Amazon alongside the bottle--maybe a little discount bundle situation.Bottome Line: Great stuff, sleek design, works like a dream, best thing for a heavy water drinker. Big time recommend.PS: The thing can hold like 7 beers. You could fill this baby up and be all set for a beach day or a concert. Keep your beer cold and reduce all the aluminum cans that get thrown away or littered on the beach.

I love SM. They are reasonably-priced and work really well. Unfortunately, I have not used any other more expensive brands like Hydro Flask, Yeti or Kleen Kanteen - so I can't really compare how SM holds up to these brands. But, on its own value, SM is holding up really well. I think it is very value for money. It keeps drinks cold and hot, as it says. Left my SM bottle (with cold water) in the car for a few hours in the hot weather recently to test. The bottle itself is warm to touch thanks to the sun, but the cold water remains COLD AND REFRESHING!The best thing about SM is of course, its ecosystem of various lids and accessories. I chose to go with SM because it has many different lids for different occasions (coffee lid for drinking hot drinks, sports chug lid for hiking, straw lid for hiking too, etc). It also has a very pretty bottle Booty (?) that protects it from dents. And they come in MANY different colors, which makes it great to make one bottle that is uniquely (almost) yours. However, the accessories can get a bit pricey because each lid is almost half thr price of the bottle. Still, I like the lids.I love the form factor - it is beautiful to look at. So simple and so modern. I see where it gets its name. It also fits into the car holder well (even with the Booty). I hope one day SM will have a 24 oz bottle that still fits in the car holder. Why 24 oz? For the Venti-sized cold drinks from Starbucks. Haha!

I bought this bottle for my boyfriend, as I already have my own 40 oz. simple modern bottle.I am absolutely in love with this brand. Not only is it much more affordable than HydroFlasks, it works just as well. My boyfriend loved my bottle so I got him his own, in a much larger size (84 oz) because he works outside and I wanted him to stay hydrated and not have to refill his bottle constantly.Unfortunately, he told me it’s a lot harder to drink out of the straw with his bottle. I’m pretty sad about that, but he still loves his bottle! It keeps your water cold or hot for literally days. He still has ice in his bottle after working outside for hours in 100+ degree heat!Another set back that I’ve noticed with my own bottle as well is, with the straw attachment, it’s -pretty- water proof, but if it’s filled all the way up, it will dribble a slight bit. If it’s at least 1/5 empty, it won’t do this at all. I have no idea if my boyfriend is having this same issue with his 84 oz, if he has he hasn’t mentioned it, but beware, this is something that can happen. I may have gotten a defective straw lid, I’m not sure.Keep in mind the 84 oz bottle is very heavy when full, naturally.All in all, this is still a great bottle, and I recommend it. I rated the easy to drink from portion 3/5 stars because the size of the bottle makes it difficult to drink from. For any smaller sizes it’s not difficult at all.
