My window frame stands out quite a way from the wall, so I needed brackets that extended a good 5 to 6 inches. I mounted these on the wall, not the window frame. The curtains that I hung from these are moderately weighted - not super heavy but not gauzy and light either - and the brackets have stood up to the weight with no problem. I never planned on hanging an inside rod but, because the brackets themselves are hidden by the curtains, you can't tell that these have that extra dip in the middle so it's not a problem. There were also no problems installing these as I've read with some other curtain rods. You can easily get to the upper and lower holes with a screwdriver.Overall happy with the purchase.

While I bought the drapes I really wanted to finish my decorating project I didn't take into consideration how wide the pleats would be once they were open. So that cancelled out using the brackets that came with the rods. While looking through Amazon for a solution we came across these brackets. We took a chance they would be sturdy and the correct length. We were not disappointed. They are made of heavy duty metal. They were the perfect width and they came very quickly. Would definitly recommend them to anyone who needs a wider bracket.

Good alternative. We wanted to have curtains in our house instead of blinds. But then we decided to leave the blinds and hang the curtains on the windows also. The problem appeared when the double rods did not equiped with adjustable brackets. I had to buy them separately. Finally, I found them on Amazon. They are very strong and what I was looking for. Only two details are not modified: the size of a second rod holder is very wide and loose and the screws are not match the color of the rods. It would be good to work on the design and add more colors to choose. I had the bronze rods but I bought the black brackets because I was not be able to find the same color with my rods. Live and learn!

So pleased! Purchased these curtain brackets to replace a set of brackets that were insufficient. I was so concerned that nothing would support our curtains after two failures! These brackets have been up for over a month with no signs of fatigue. I am using 3 brackets to span 11 feet holding 6 sheer panels and 6 black-out panels so there is quite a bit of weight to support. Also very pleased that both sets of curtains move freely since both sets have grommets. I only wish the brackets matched my rods but I can spray paint them. Overall, extremely pleased with the product! I would purchase them again and I highly recommend them.

I bought two sets so that I could use three of these brackets to support drapes over a patio door. They are long enough and sturdy enough to support the drapes over the valance box ( 5-7/8 inches). The vertical blinds do not "catch" on the drapes. The third support is in the middle so that there are three drapery panels on each side of center bracket and the drapes open from the middle.

I was hanging 1 heavy blackout curtain that needed to extend beyond the shutter box. These were great. the brackets were sturdy, looked good and met my needs. I did not use the inner rod. I used a 1in rod and the set screw did not quite reach the rod to tighten it. I put a small piece of rubber between set screw and the rod and it worked prefect. I suggest you add a small rubber strip kit to the package for curtain rods 1in and below

These brackets allowed me to mount curtains and valence rods on one bracket. To be more correct, two of these sturdy brackets are holding up two curtain rods full of curtains. It was a painless installation, and I was impressed at the thickness of the metal used in these brackets. I highly recommend them.
