Thoughts đź’
So idk how I felt about this. I felt like I jumped into a relationship and didn’t know if I was in the middle of the series, granted I didn’t read the first book. I felt as though I was kinda lost. But beside that I thought it was really funny and I enjoyed it!

Another perfect hockey romance from Helena Hunting!
This is one of those easy-to-read stories that you can't find a single flaw in. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing about this book.Helena Hunting has a writing style that I really mesh with. She has a very straightforward and easy-to-read style. I love all the humor that she packs into her books. The premise of the story was compelling and the plot kept me wanting to know more. I loved the world-building. I felt so immersed in the setting.Miller “Buck” Butterson is one of those characters that hides a lot under the surface. There is so much more depth to him than he lets on. I really loved getting to dive in deep with him and get to know him at something other than face value. Sunny was a character that was also a little mysterious. It was easy to empathize with both characters and the situations they found themselves in. I adore the cast of secondary characters in this series. It really is an ensemble cast that puts such a smile on my face. The romance in this book was quite romantic. Buck really cares about Sunny and he changes so much for her. He tries everything that he can to show her how much she means to him. He is warm and caring at the right times and sexy at the right times. I really loved how their odd little romance worked. This felt like an opposites-attract sort of story because they really were so different in so many ways. When they were together they just clicked though. They had a very natural chemistry that burned so hot when they were alone.Overall, this was another perfect hockey romance from Helena Hunting! I loved every moment of this book. If you enjoy sports romance with characters that you won't be able to get out of your head, a spicy romance, and a plot that won't disappoint then you want to pick this one up! I am so excited to continue this series!

A Page Turner
This couple literally had to jump through hoops to succeed. I was rooting for their HEA. They truly deserved to become a couple.

Siblings of the 1st book get together
The siblings, Sunny and Miller, of Alex and Violet, start seeing with each other. Things are rocky due to Miller and Alex being teammates on hockey team, plus the whole sibling thing. Sunny has some trust issues due to everyone in her life always telling her what to do, etc. Miller has a past as a player.Trials, tribulations, media status, etc reek their havoc but will love prevail?Great story, awesome characters, and hockey.

RomCom fun with lots of feels and laughter
I started this series a little backwards by reading about the next generation of these characters first, but I quickly stopped and started at the beginning of the Pucked series so that I could get a better idea of all the relationships. Don’t get me wrong, all of these could be standalone, but having extra info just sweetens the experience. This is the 2nd in this series and it’s been so nice reading about Miller (Buck) and Sunny, but I think Miller stole my heart. Here you get to see what he really goes through as someone living with dyslexia. Having dyslexia doesn’t make you unintelligent and the way Miller has to overcome assumptions daily is heartbreaking and inspiring. He meets his match in Sunny who really seems to get him, but she is afraid of trusting him because he has been painted a certain way in the media and it hasn’t been entirely unfounded. Plus Miller also plays on the same team A’s Sunny’s brother AND her brother is engaged to Miller’s half-sister. Needless to say, family and friend situations ensue. There is a lot of entertaining comedy and mild spice. This is a sweet story with a lotta heart and it really showcases how at the end of the day you need to decide weather or not you are willing to take the leap and trust your heart to someone even if you may get hurt because the rewards can be everything.
