Got this set for my 6yo to learn to play...but quality issues after one week **UPDATED review**
(UPDATED REVIEW 8/23/2020)The vendor has excellent customer service skills and acknowledged there were some QC issues with their product across the board and was able to work something out with me to ensure customer satisfaction - thanks again! 5* on customer service!(ORIGINAL REVIEW)I had a "junior" size racket but it was still too long for consistent hitting and serving for my 6yo child who is 47.5" tall so I decided to get these shorter rackets and she seems to be hitting more consistent whilst she is learning. The set is cute as it comes with a small backpack, 4 rainbow birdies and two ping pong balls. The strings on the rackets are rainbow, and my kid likes that too since she is into rainbows. The only problem I have is quality of materials - obviously for the price you have to manage your expectations. The birdies came with the feathers deformed from shipping because they are made of flimsy plastic and the rubber tips are not glued to the feathers. You can use hot water to re-shape/round the feathers. The birdies are also really light (3 grams) compared to official ones that are 5-6 grams. This means they won't hit that far or deflect because of air/wind resistance, but maybe this is okay for little kids. One of the pink birdies already has a tear in the feathers after less than a week of use (again flimsy plastic). The grips on the rackets are really cheap and don't really offer much as far as slip-free grips but again after one week, one of the racket grips has already started to shift/unravel.

Not Very Adequate
Bought this for a fun activity for my bf and I and maybe it's easier and an easy occupier for kids but I'd optd for going to your local store or buying a better quality one.The rackets themselves are okay but the birdies are very light weight and even if there is a fart of wind will send your birdie to the neighbors house. The two balls it comes with would be more fun to use especially if you threw a table in there and made a cheap table tennis.

Excellent for the money
We bought these about 3 months ago; my 7 and 9-year-olds use them all of the time and they are holding up just fine. One of them has a slight bend to it after the older son hit it hard on the ground (being silly), but it’s still fully operational and the damage was due to poor treatment... he actually calls it his lucky racquet now. LOLThis is a $15 set. Realistically, it’s not going to be amazing, but for children who might be too small for regular badminton racquets, this set is great.
