Ridiculously delicious
It takes a little work to stir the oil in but that happens w all natural peanut butter. WELL WORTH the effort. Delicious combo of toasty peanut, citrus and heat. Makes AMAZING peanut sauce for dipping dumplings, dressing salad or a bowl of hot rice with a soy marinated soft boiled egg. To 1 jar of EPB (thai) add juice of 2 limes, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup unseasonably rice vinegar, about 2 Tbsp sugar, a teaspoon of salt, 1/2 cup boiling water. Whisk (or shake it in a large jar).

A must try
I was a bit skeptical considering the price, but had so many great reviews I had to try them. I was a bit let down with the espresso nibs. It's not bad just not to much flavor. I will still eat, just not my favorite. I also got the honey chipolte... now this one is delicious. Just the right amount of kick. I dropped the jar and it broke. I think some glass chards got in it so I will probably order another one. They came secure in their own little box so I was impressed right off the bat. Considering others reviews saying the jars came damaged. I'm not sure I will buy this too often, just because of the hefty price. But I do look forward to trying a couple more flavors.

Unexpectedly delicious...
I was NOT expecting this... but hey, I like surprises. This isn't for everyone as there is certainly a bit of spice, but if that's up your alley, then I highly suggest this. It's a bit on the crunchy side, but if that doesn't bother you either then certainly try it. The flavor is excellent and the spice is a fun departure from every-day peanut butter. Eat it with celery, on a peanut butter and banana sandwich, or just by itself...delicious.

Decent, but some drawbacks.
First, when asked to rate this for "sheerness," I have no idea what that means. Google didn't really help me out here, so I gave it a midpoint rating as an "eh, whatever" factor.Second, the nut flavor is much, much stronger in this than in regular nutella, and the cocoa flavor is somewhat stronger. Flavor wise, this is robust and engaging, but lacks the dessert-y richness of the traditional nutella, so I'd consider it an upgrade only in context and depending on what you want to use it for.Third, for a significantly heftier price tag, the jar wasn't even completely full. It was the exact same kind of bait and switch feeling you get from an air-puffed bag of chips. All in all, I'm pleased with the better nutritional profile, and would switch to this product for regular nutella over that alone, but the un-full-ness just dampened the joy of the experience. I understand paying more for a higher quality artesenal product, but could the jar, at least, be full?I guess this is up to the individual customer if it's worth the money for their budget. Again, the product stands on its own, and on a more robust salary maybe the disappointment wouldn't hit so hard, but for me it took the wind out of my sails a little bit.

Subtle Heat
I sometimes like a lot of heat, but that wouldn't be good with peanut butter. This has a mild heat that just builds as you eat it. The dark spots are chunks of dried chipotle peppers. The oil of the peanut butter did not make them soggy. They are still very crunchy. I pulled one out to taste on its own. The peanut butter had absorbed most of the heat, so it was just as mild as the rest of the butter, but full of flavor.I apologize for the crushed bread, but it's all I had on hand. This peanut butter is destined for my favorite peanut butter sandwich, which is peanut butter, banana, and candied bacon.

Oily, artificial,Ugh!
I had my doubts but was willing to risk $10+ on a couple of jars, two flavors expecting a resemblance to actual peanut butter. Sadly when they arrived I opened the jar and saw a dark oily liquid, obviously oil, floating above the mix. Following directions I stirred the oil back into the mix, partially spilling some oil as the mix at the bottom was hard like chunks of chocolate. Finally after 10 minutes I tasted the mix and the flavors were extremely artificial and foreign to me. Not what I expected. After a couple of tastings using celery sticks, I gave up, simply could not stand the taste or texture. I realize I set high expectations for this produce, probably because I love peanut butter, but this left me with a bad taste in my mouth UGH. Trying to find keto friendly foods has been a struggle however I would skip this product and go with a lesser amount of real peanut butter ( a known product ) or use ranch dressing in modest amounts. Maybe I’m just too picky or not adapting to the keto friendly foods but I can only write about what my experience was. Good luck to anyone who tries this product and I truly hope your experience is better than mine.

Meh
I was really excited to use this for Pad Thai but it's not spicy enough and it is insanely hard to mix. I tried microwaving it for nearly two minutes to hopefully get it nice and melty but it made no difference, so I ended up with a bunch of huge dense clumps of peanut butter in my noodles. Aside from being a bit salty, the taste is fine; but like I said, it's not very spicy. You could've told me it was plain peanut butter and I don't know if I would've been able to tell the difference. That's easy enough to fix, though. But what can't be fixed is the texture; this stuff is very gritty, which I find rather unpleasant. I hope the espresso peanut butter will be a better experience.

I can't believe how good this PB is
I'm the jackass whose friends are tired of her b/c I can't stop raving about this peanut butter. It's so unusual, yet so perfect, with a selection and balance of flavors that might make it the best peanut butter I've ever had. I just printed recipes from Eliot's website, but I don't know if I'll ever progress past simply eating it straight out of the jar. Holy cow, it's good.It definitely has a real Thai tang. It's not just "spicy peanut butter." You taste the lime leaves, you taste the lemongrass, and you definitely taste the cayenne chili. I honestly marvel at the exceptionality of this peanut butter.

Not Good
The product arrived and I was excited to try it out. The oil and separated from the nut butter and despite trying to mix it up to get some sort of decent consistency, it came out quite liquid - like a nut oil rather than butter. Flavour-wise - the Espresso nib tasted of nothing - more irritating because you get a grainy texture but no real flavour. It is now in the bin - money wasted, lesson learnt.
