Great for cheap miniature bases
I bought these to base my miniatures for tabletop RPGs. They work great for that purpose, as they keep the figures looking uniform once they're all based. I didn't get any that I've noticed have off sizing, but the wood is definitely not uniformly colored. These also have just enough weight to them where the minis don't risk tipping over too easily on rough terrain pieces.Greenstuff sticks easily to the surface of these without needing glue or pinning, since the wood is porous. And if the minis need to be pinned, this wood is soft enough to easily drill into with a pin vise. These would probably work great as custom tokens for other games and CCGs, as they take paint well and have a very uniform shape.

Handy for Dungeons and Dragons character tokens for battle maps
You can paint them -- or even just use a set of various permanent markers -- to customize tokens for each player character (putting their name on it) and because it's two-sided, you can vary the design so one side is them upright and fine, and the other side is them "hindered" in some way: unconscious, prone, etc.I also made three sets that I numbered 1 - 12, each of the three using a different color scheme, each having a "heads" and a "tails" side. So now we can have tokens for up to 12 monsters of a sort, with at least 3 different kinds of creatures present. I also made a few pieces I labeled "A" through "E" to represent various other characters, from friendly NPCs, special one-of-a-kind enemies, and etc. However you decorate them, I highly recommend also applying some sort of clear coat to protect the marker/paint from smearing or rubbing off onto whatever surface you're using these on. I didn't do that the first time, and one overzealous player rubbed the piece into the vinyl mat and smeared the artwork all over (it wasn't intentional, he really thought it'd be fine). Good news is, the vinyl mat wasn't stained. After applying a protective clear coat, they're all good to go now.I wish I'd thought of making these sooner, because they really are convenient, highly portable (I keep them all in a single ziploc sandwich bag) and super affordable. Plus, you can buy these in larger sizes if you think you'll need them. I got the 2" and 3" circles as well.

They are fine. Every so slightly under 1inch
They are fine. Every so slightly under 1inch, almost as if they didnt account for the blade thickness... I have images which are exactly 1inch, so there is a tiny overhang that annoys me.

High Quality wood rounds
These wood rounds are good quality. I was going to use them as tokens for tabletop gaming. I did find that they are roughly 15/16" so just a bit too small for my needs as my labels are exactly 1", but if that little bit isn't an issue for your project these are great items.

These aren't 1 inch!
These are ever so slightly less than one inch. I have a 1" circle paper cutter and wanted to print and glue paper circles onto the tokens. The 1" paper circles will overlap these tokens by almost 1/16" of an inch, and that leads to the paper curling, tearing, and lifting.I suppose 15/16" wood slices was not a catchy headline, but the difference in size can matter.

NOT 1 inch...slightly less
I bought these to make D&D tokens, so I have a 1 inch cutter and 1 inch acrylic stickers.....and these are slightly less, as if they did not account for the width of the blade. (In the picture you can see the slight overhang from then acrylic sticker which is exactly 1 inch diameter) So i have tokens that have a slight overhang which is annoying, but I also don't want to waste them. Hoping the ones I buy from a different source that are a few bucks more will actually be the right size.

Diameter is just shy of 1"
Unfortunately, the diameter of these tokens is just smaller than 1". So, the 1" stickers I've been putting on them overhang the edge, and get caught on each other when they're stacked into a pile. Wood quality is decent - it's a very light color and light weight wood. I'm sure they would be fine for various arts and crafts assuming you don't need a token that's exactly 1"
