Love it ... but know your camera well! You will really happy you bought it, once you figure everything out.!
Love it, but it won't be automatic- you still have to have a good understanding of using your camera. I bought this mainly for it's Lightening Trigger. It will work, but understand - it is only needed during the daylight. Also understand, that if lightening is against anything besides a dark background... it will not fire in time. I tested it during a thunderstorm during the day. Had a lot of lightening, but unfortunately it was against light gray clouds. I saw shot go through the middle of the the view screen and it fired... I thought, Man, I got that one dead center. When reviewing the photo... nothing. After further researching on triggers and lightening, I found that the problem probably was as explained above. For night lightening, it is not needed. Use the old tried and true bulb mode for better chances. It is easy to set-up and operate as a trigger... so it is well worth it for avoiding any shake during delicate photo taking. It does have a few things that will make you experiment to figure out. For example, when bracketing photos, you have to go in the menu to # of pictures to take and change it to 3 or 5, whatever your camera will take. Otherwise, you will have to trigger it 3-5 times individually, Which can mess up stacking and such as the time will be over a longer period and allow too much movement. I had assumed the camera setting would automatically decided this. There are a few other things like this and the instructions are minimal, so this is why you need a good understanding of your camera. I would recommend this to any photographer, but understand it has a little bit of a learning curve and requires a little experimentation. It can do much more than lightening and ir really quality made!

Could Not Be Happier with this Remote!
I heavily researched remote triggers before pulling the trigger on this remote. I debated between the MIOPS and the Pluto. My thinking was for the $100 less for the Pluto I could get the water vslve for an extra $40, the cable I needed for the trigger to the camera (it is NOT included so order with your Pluto) and still come out less, plus you get a laser. Speaking of laser, mine was not charged when I got it. Could not get it to work. So I contacted Pluto and through a series of messages it happened to be a defective usb wall charger, not the csble. They were willing to replace the laser or the cable, I had plenty of wall chargers, I was just hsppy with the customer service and how they walked me through troubleshooting it. The app is straight forward and fun. There is a learning curve and the instructions and manual are minimal, the only knock I have against this. But there are some tutorials out there to step you through the basics. However, it will work right away as a remote release trigger. If you are questioning whether to get this, get it! You will not be disappointed!

Tons of features
First the downside - a little confusing to use with all the features but nothing so horrible a little experimenting doesn’t address and that’s half the fun of photography anyway, experimentingMajor positive - there’s a hidden feature that is AWESOME for anyone who does long exposure shooting using ND filtersAttach your Pluto deviceSet your cam to bulbCompose focus set to manual etcThen go into the phone app connect via Bluetooth and select ND filter on bottom of long list menuHere you can dial in your converted settings for the selected ND filter then do the exposure countdown and shutter release all with a single button in the app - best part is even if you take a call while the app is running it executes in the background on your phoneCapturing lightning is also a breeze - just select lightning mode, adjust sensitivity and let the Pluto do all the detecting and shutter controls - I find using several second exposures works best as the defaultOverall an extremely useful practical and cool addition to my kit - works with all my rigs as well even diff brand bodiesHighly recommend this thing
