Brought to deter cats on window sills. Husband fitted on to top of fence also. We sat in garden all afternoon & part of the evening & never saw one cat so perhaps we are on a winner. Husband did a walk in garden late evening & still no sign. We will persevere. So far pleased with purchase.

Like that they can fit into each other together to avoid waste by cutting so far seems to have kept the neighbours cat away

You would need an awful lot of these to cover pillar caps so would end up costing a fortune, so what we ended up doing was break the spikes into 3 and they fit the wooden fence perfectly and with the leftover ones stuck them on the wall were cat usually crosses. The cats route seems to be disrupted now as we haven't seen it since we put it up. So fingers crossed

Easy to fit. Has reduced number of cats in garden but hasn’t totally stopped them.

Bought these to put in the flower beds in the garden. our cat is not a happy bunny as it stops him trying to dig his way to Australia, easily moved around.

The spikes are really sharp and quite long. It will certainly keep the cats and squirrels off. I only gave four stars for ease of installation because the spikes are so long (3.5 mm as described) that I had to use long nosed pliers to hold the screws to insert them. Longer screws would have been too long for fastening to the fence top rails. I'm being a bit picky but the job was tricky. Overall, the Mardili Fence & Wall spikes are an excellent product.
