Does what it's supposed to
This product does what it's supposed to. The urine goes in the box and the crystals kind of set on top of it. I just tilt the urine into the corner of the pan and use a syringe to collect what I need for testing. Watch out if you have a cat that likes to cover, you might find the beads all over your floor. It's easy to clean by just running hot water into the pan and then pouring it over a strainer and swishing it around real good. Then you can transfer them to a towel to let them dry. Make sure the cat doesn't have access to that drying towel as you may find them scattered all over the room. Be forewarned: in all of that transferring, from box to strainer to towel, you will lose some of those little buggers. And if you do this multiple times, like I do, you might want to get a second bag of it. I've included pictures to give you a good idea of how much you get. It's just enough to cover a SMALL litter tray. I will continue to use it for my cat sanctuary and all the urinalysis I do on an almost daily basis. Because of that, I ordered another bag. The three stars is for the tediousness in trying to retain all the product!
