DELTA FAUCET 543423 Master Plumber Chrome 3 Way Water Diverter

This is not made by Delta Faucet but instead is a knock-off. I can't support counterfeit goods.. and not sure why no other reviewers noticed this obvious fact. Even says Delta on the hardware like the real one. I think they can get away with it because the packaging doesn't say Delta Faucet anywhere. The real one is $4 more and is solid brass (search for Delta Faucet U4929-PK 3). This one is made of plastic. Never opened the package and returned it to get the real one, which works great.

If you want to install a double shower head - this is the way to go. This Delta 3-way diverter is far better than the other one I bought from Amazon and was easy to install and didn't leak. The "switch" that diverts the flow has 3 settings, one for each shower head and one for both at the same time. Great finish and quality item.

The product is good quality. Only three stars because I found I didn't need it after-all. Wanted to return it but would have been charged over $9 return fee, so I kept it.

Hey it’s a water diverted. It does what it was designed to do. Water from one or the other or both. The choice is yours. The Crome finish is great.

I’m not sure there’s any metal in this, but the killer was the flats milled on the side of the threads. There’s no way this will fit in a regular female pipe thread and be watertight. It is my intention to send this back.

used to be all metal, now all plastic. works okay anyway.

Leaks in to many places. This diverter leaks in a couple places and I'm not talking about the thread places either. Returning item.

Made of plastic. Not assembled correctly so had to fix it to get it to work. Still working so far but doubt it will last long.

A very useful item. I wanted to add a rain shower head to my existing set-up & this made it easy to do & gave ideal control over the two shower heads. Am able to use either head separately or both at the same time.
