Hilmor1891260 Quick Change Magnetic Nut Driver, 6" 1/4" + 5/16" - HVAC Tool

The driver keeps falling out of the handle. Good length though.

I was so excited to buy this and waited forever to have it delivered time changed at least 3 times. Then finally, when I had it I was happy to reduce amount of tools in my belt tool pouch…., but only 2 medium jobs the tool was used and the chrome plating is peeling off…that’s not a good signal…..rust will follow soon. Simply for the price tag and how hard it was to trace it done, and then have it delivered…..this is disappointment and I will not buy this brand again…..

I am a hvac tech and have used Hilmor tools for decades. The magnet fell out of the 5/16 side of the tool after a few months of use. I contacted Hilmor to see if they would just mail me a magnet so I could glue it in place. They gave me a hard time about it so I am done with them. These were great tools years ago.

If you are in HVAC, this is a must have!

I love this nutdriver. Gone are the days of dragging around both my 1/4" and 5/16" kleins that i only seem to get about 8 months out of. Had for over a year and use them religiously everyday without issue. Recommend getting the stubby version as well. Less tools to carry around in the toolbag!

So far this thing is great. I didn't want to carry 2 separate tools (Klein's 5/16 1/4) but I wanted something as thin and long as the shafts they have. These are a bit thinner and just as long. Plus, it doesn't take the space of 2 separate tools.

wanted 6" nut drivers in my bag but don't need them enough to justify 2 separate tools. Overall they feel nice even for a Chinese made tool. We'll see how they hold up. Otherwise it's back to the Kleins.

Neat idea, but not durable. Already wore out 1/4" side with only minor use. It is long. And has both nut sizes in one for hvac needs.

Great way to lighten your tool bag. Only wish they made a wider selection of size combinations, so I could get rid of a little more tool weight.

The magnet on this screwdriver is really weak. That's what I really needed it for

Long handle to get back into furnaces ect. and magnetic nut driver tips so you won't drop the screws after you remove them. The magnets are a little on the week side though or more likely the screws are junk that I usually remove.

Nice idea combining two of the most commonly used sizes into one tool. It's seeing daily use and holding up fine it does feel a bit cheap but for the cost I'm happy with the value I'm getting from it.
