Brilliant
An excellent little machine. Does what it's supposed to do. The speed adjustment on the power supply is a bonus. I've cut 6mm plywood, plastic and 10mm square softwood.Easy to use and pretty sturdy. All in all, very pleased.

Literally the most useless thing I've ever bought
The media could not be loaded. Â I bought this so that I could cut thin wood or cardboard accurately and in a straight line .......as you can see, this machine fails to cut even cardboard! If I could give it less than 1 star I would

Nice table saw for modelling use.
I bought this table saw to cut plastic sheets for model making and the quality of the cut exceeds my expectations. The motor and drive belt assembly seems to be well engineered and robust. For what I want, this saw was an excellent purchase. There are some negatives to look out for which I was able to overcome:The finger guard is not really adequate so I made a replacement by sawing the base off a sturdy clear plastic GoPro camera packaging box. The on/off switch is not very convenient if you need to switch off in an emergency, so I fitted a foot pedal via a DIN plug and socket to the case of the saw where there was already a hole punched through but unused, I also wired the foot pedal changeover switch to stop the motor instantly by connecting the terminals together when the power is cut.I tried cutting plywood but it struggled on longer cuts when the cut was the full diameter of the saw blade. Maybe the coarser blade provided would be better, but I've not tried it.The power supply is supplied with a detachable non UK power lead and an adaptor to fit UK sockets which is not to British Standard and is best put straight in the bin. I had plenty of spare UK power leads so it was no problem for me to change it.

Good.
This is a great little saw for small scale craft work.i have tried it out on bits of thin plywood and balsa wood.cuts precise and clean. As with all cutting do not force the work through it and it cuts good.

Do not buy
Saws badly. No straight edges. Torque is low and cant handle decent word. Honestly not worth getting in any way.

Not really suitable for wood, not even as a hobby machine
To say this is an accident waiting to happen is an understatement. The blade height cannot be adjusted either, so the full height is always exposed. The blade guard is pretty useless and just gets in the way. So you remove it and then increase the risk of an accident by an order of magnitude. My motor was not fitted 100% horizontal, so if I tried cutting thin, 3mm board it would start OK but then begin binding, eventually bringing the blade to a halt. I tried adjusting it several times but the manufacturing tolerances are just too slack. The straight edge is adjusted in a most cheap and cheerful manner, using turn screws. Whilst it can work, with some patience, it's a whole world away from what I had expected. As they say, you get what you pay for. After several disappointing attempts to use this in my most recent project, I've just put the entire thing away in my shed, relegated to the "Don't Use" box. I wonder if it's too late to return it to Amazon?
