This lamp oil is definitely smokeless and odourless. The Oil Candle Company it came from are a legitimate British family business supplying quality products (and they didn't pay me to say that!)

Arrived safely packed and in good time.As for the oil, I have used it extensively in my hurricane lamp and it works just fine.

I've bought a couple of lamps, and the oil from this company. The lamps themselves are pretty decent for the price, heavy with thick glass, so appreciate the quality.The only thing cumbersome about the lamps themselves, is trying to get the wick in. That can be a trial...The oil is light and free of any discernible fragrance. It does burn quick though, so a bottle might not last you as long as you think, specially if you're burning three lamps as I am!The only thing difficult with the oils is getting the delivery. The timing is not quite accurate. They never seem to arrive within the time frame mentioned, and you cannot have them delivered to a locker or a nearby post office.I'd be interested to know if they do fragrant oils as well, kinda do away with any scented candles business..Oh FYI, The wick burns quite bright with a long flame, so it might take a bit of fiddling before you have a flame height you need. The longer the flame, the quicker the oil will run out..I do recommend the product.

I have been using this in a Feuerhand lantern and I have edited this review in the light of further experience of this product. The first few times I used the lantern the fumes were pretty awful. It would appear that it is not the fault of the oil, but the 'burning in' of the new lantern. On the third lighting the acrid fumes seem to have gone. I would still advise using plenty of ventilation if you are in a confined space.

I use this for an old fashioned oil lamp ya since the UK is falling apart 😆 and it's works well no bad smell or fumes just don't sniff it 😆 that bad very bad
