The Chill Headphones for Kids & Adults arrived in an easy-to-open package, avoiding the need for scissors.The first thing I noticed out of the package (aside from the bold pink color) was the fabric cord. This cannot be understated, as plastic cords tangle easily and are difficult to untangle, fray near the joints (where attached to the headset or the plug) after some use, and annoyingly hold the shape of however they were stored.The headset is easily adjustable by sliding the earpieces up or down a metal clip on the outside of the headband. Both my six year old and four year old were able to adjust it without a problem (and without needing to ask how to). The headset fit on my head and adjusted to fit on both kids' heads without a problem. The earpieces are comfortable, if a little stiff. I anticipate that after some use, they'll soften-up some. They were small for my adult ears (which was expected), and fit my children's ears perfectly.The real draw of these headphones is that they're designed to limit the volume for children, whose devices far too often do not have such limitations. The cord features an easy to use volume control that allows children to set their desired volume. The headphones initially mute the volume to an extent, so we found they worked best when we turned the device volume to high and allowed the kids to set their own listening volume using the control on the cord.Overall, they were easy to open, easy to use, comfortable, and worked exactly as intended. I recommend this product for anyone with kids who have devices that you might not want to hear when driving!

These are GREAT headphones. Very are very lightweight and comfortable to wear as long as needed, and they have a very clear, excellent sound. They actually have really great bass, so they're good for all different kinds of music or anything else.I really appreciate the sound control. It's quite loud enough for the kids to fully enjoy and get immersed in their own audio world without harming themselves.They're made very well, and they are fully adjustable so as the title says, they fit kids or adults very well. I have borrowed them from the kids a few times, and they fit all of us just fine. They're sturdy enough so I believe they'll take a lot of wear and tear. Very satisfied, would definitely buy again! ;0)

This review is long overdue; however, I feel that it means more because I can say that while I purchased these headphones 6 months ago, they are the only headphones that have lasted this long. Not because my kids are wild children - they're just kids and treat everything like it's indestructible. We lived in Japan and would travel back to the US with our kids (18 months and 3 years) frequently and needless to say, I searched the world up and down for good headphones for kids. I have tried them ALL. And then I found these. I was leery - they're not very expensive, so does that mean they are cheaply made or just a great deal (the latter, if you're wondering)?Now my kids are 6 and 8 years old and I have asked them what they think of them, as they too have tried many types of headphones (earbuds and over the ear) and are old enough to voice their preferences. This is what they have said (unedited, so take it with a grain of salt):6-year old girl:They are crazy soft.How do they make them so soft?I want to keep them on forever now.I like the color (pink).They sound better than the others (the last pair that broke were Panasonic) because you can adjust the volume on the cord... I can hear better.8-year old boy:I like them.The thing I like about them is guess what? How comfortable it is. It is super comfortable.I like the sound better (than their pair - Panasonic most recently) because it is probably more clear because you hear it alone, no other sounds go into the music.The volume control is pretty good. It's good.So I think they like them. A lot. They're soft all around, not just on the ears, and they're very easy to adjust. I love that the cord is not plastic - it's covered in a fabric so it's easy for them to untangle. They have volume control on an ergonomic-looking plastic part on the cord. And they come in fun colors. If the foam/cushion part comes off the ear piece, it's easy to put back on. Basically, the easier they are to take care of the less I have to do while driving the car, in my opinion.My only initial concern was there was no L or R labeled on the headphones to indicate which was to go on the left or right ear, and then it dawned on me that it doesn't matter. How great is that? Just slap them on and they are good to go. I give these puppies 5 stars. Hands down.

The look, style, and feel of these is great. Unfortunately the perfomance is lacking. I ordered 2 for my 4 and 6 year old. I've never ordered anything but volume limiting headphones, but these are beyond limiting! You can barely hear in a quiet room and not at all if there is any kind of noice even talking definitely not in a car or airplane. I'm going to be returning these. These are nice headphones. Sad to say I am sending them back to look for another pair.Cons: 1. Headphones are set to a volume limit which is nice but the limit is tiny. I could barley hear the music so I know on loud car trips these would not work for my child. 2. They are adjustable but not small enough to fit my toddlers head they still fell off if she moved her head. She is three.Pros :1. Nice color very vibrant we ordered the pink. 2. The are adjustable. 3. Very comfortable.These headphones were nice just not as loud as we need them to be.
