I purchased this mobile knife bag for my home chef of a husband. We will soon be moving from one home very far away to a new home, and I wanted him to be able to package his treasured Henkels knives (along with his magnetic knife strip) in such a way that he could keep a close watch on them and not just throw them in a box. This is definitely the way to go! If you're looking for "compact" once it's opened, this is not the bag for you. It certainly does take up counter space when gully unfurled; but for our purposes this is the perfect chef's companion. It's highly functional and has great space for items other than knives, which also drew me to it. It does hold up to 20 knives, and although I have read other reviews stating that the tips of the knives have no barrier to keep them from falling out should they be turned upside down, there is a velcro strap that, when the bag is folded, will absolutely keep your cutlery secure. The weight and quality of this bag is exceptional. It's durable enough to be trustworthy, but light enough to be usable. The zippers are durable and the design of this bag makes it very easy to use. In summary, if you are looking for an excellent chef's knife bag, look no further. The value for this bag is excellent. Happy cooking!

This knife bag is perfect for me. Everything I have fits perfectly. Now I’m going to need more tools to fill it up.

I usually just stow mine but it's durable and looks great. I think some of the pockets are a little small to fit a knife handle in. But I know they're secure both from the inside and out when I use it.

Bought this for my culinary student. It's a great bag. Has several slots for all your cooking tools. Nice and compact one ii isfolded down. We bought purple and liked the color. It also has zipper pouches to store all your additional items. It's a sold shell roll up bag that isn't too bulky.

The zippers open on their own. The first time I used it to carry my tools, a knife that reaches halfway up the height of the case pierced the fabric. It’s not durable. I regret buying it.
