Love them. I like colorful frames

I am extremely impressed with the durability and scratch resistance of these glasses. I’ve had them a few months and they have become my favorite glasses. They are comfortable and stylish and I’ve gotten several compliments on them. My only compliant is they didn’t have 1.75 reading strength which is what I needed but I got 1.5 instead and that is ok. I would also like more variety in color combinations but that is also minor. Tonite my 50 lb lab/collie mix puppy got ahold of them while I was napping (she destroyed all of my other glasses in about 30 seconds-including a $500 pair of RayBans) and she had these for a few minutes before I realized what she was doing. I was expecting them to be ruined. But the frame part doesn’t have 1 scratch on them and the lens (which was out of the frame) is barely scratched! My husband had trouble getting back in so I would imagine it took some strength to get it out. I will definitely buy these again if I ever run out of the 3 pairs. They are excellent quality for the price!

I was tired of paying $20-$40 for readers and suffering the pain of breaking them or losing them or sitting on them and having to replace them. Also most of them were extremely boring and cheap looking. When I needed to increase the magnification, it was a big deal. And I needed several - one pair for my purse, one at my desk, one in the kitchen, one by each of the chairs where I sit to read all of the books I order from Amazon. And I needed to be able to see them when I put them down somewhere in the house. So when I saw the price and the colors and the quantity of glasses I could get at the price, I decided to take a chance and order the Gamma Ray Readers. They are so exactly what I was looking for that after receiving the first set, I immediately ordered two more sets. The quality is most excellent. They are easy to clean. And I now have glasses wherever I need them!! And I can see them because the colors are brightly visible. While some might find this excessive, as I get older I do like my creature comforts and readers are now a creature comfort. And at this price I can afford this creature comfort! The first set came in a larger box that provided adequate protection. The following two sets arrived in an envelope. Although they arrived in good condition, the boxes containing each set of glasses are not very strong and the envelope, though padded, would have offered no protection if it had been needed. I will let Amazon know of this through the appropriate channel.

I've bought these three times over the years as my vision's changed. (Didn't need readers til almost age 60 so can't complain.) The glasses are cute and work well, comfy and lightweight. This batch of four, something was very wrong with one pair, like the lenses weren't the same. Seems like one lens was proper strength and the other was super weak or just plain glass? Anyway, unable to go out to return them cause mostly sick in bed many years. So, print the QR code and send the one useful friend I have left after 21 years sick to whole food to do return for me. Thankful for the one helper. Or paid caregiver...Waiting on replacements a few days.

I love these readers. I have bought them twice now and a different design from gamma ray also. The other design is in a different strength. Since I had cataract surgery I don't need glasses anymore for most things - just for reading. I bought these in the strength I need to see the computer or if I am working with something at arm's length. I use the other design if I need to read fine print on something. The quality of these readers is excellent for the price. They are hinged on the sides so they should fit most people. They are cute. I often have a pair sitting on top of my head for when I need them. I also have a pair sitting by the computer and in different rooms of the house. I bought extras so I have a pair in the car and a pair in my purse so I have them if I need them. I only wish there was an option for more colors so I could have different strengths in different colors. That is why I chose a different design for a different strength. I have also gotten a few readers from other companies but these are the best I have found.

I have a slightly wide face and I have a LOT of trouble finding reading glasses that fit without "pinching" at the temples. There are perfect!! They fit very comfortably without pinching anywhere. I need several different strengths of reading glasses for different tasks, so this set is 3.0 -- for crafty stuff that needs close-up precision (needlework, papercrafts, etc.). The strength seems accurate compared to other 3.0 glasses I've purchased in the past. The frames are even nicer in person than in the photo -- great colors, nice looking. I've purchased a number of GammaRay sets in the past and all seem to be holding up nicely -- no durability issues so far. Very happy with these.

I read the reviews about not looking good on narrow faces which is perfect for me. I have a square fuller face and they fit great! For years I've been buying cheap glasses at the drug stores and was looking for something that was a better quality in the frame and the lens. The frames are a better quality, they have the spring and they rest nicely on my nose. The lens is clearer than most, if not all of the drugstore brands. They were packed well and arrived in great condition. I was concerned about the colors being gaudy and zebra looking but I love them, the colors are rich looking and the striping is done tastefully.

I want to like these. The colors are nice, but the frames break so easily causing the lenses to fall off. Of the 5 pieces I ordered in dec 2021, 3 have already been trashed, in spite of good care.

Cute and great for keeping in several places around the house. Have had lots of compliments about them.

I keep a pair in the car, in my bag, on my work desk, in the kitchen and in the bedroom! Colourful, modern and bright and a bit of fun for boring old magnifying glasses. Lost count how many people comment on these glasses.

Lots of nice compliments when I wear these. Perfectly adequate and well made too!
