I find these an excellent source for the amino acids that are a basic source of nutrients needed by the body. Effectively, they aid in rebuilding cell structures and creating substances needed for all organic processes. Bottom line: You will recover faster, heal more quickly, and generally gain more energy. Many years ago I worked at an equestrian center where horses were boarded and trained. These smell - and probably taste - like the big green pellets we poured into their feeding troughs. As long as you can deal with these attributes, I think you will find this product to be of great benefit. Pro tip: I eat these along with a proteun bar in order to better endure the taste.

I believe this is one of my first reviews ever and I have never felt more compelled to write one, than right now. This product is worth every single penny. I have been taking it every day for the past week, and by day 3, I have been feeling so full of life. I'm not sure what it is, but these do just as much, if not more for you mind, than your body. The ingredients are HIGH quality - you can literally feel it when you take them. I don't think I will ever not take these. A serious game changer. Absolutely back this product and to the manufacturers: PLEASE DON'T DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT WITH THESE. KEEP EVERYTHING THE SAME. DON'T CHEAP OUT ON INGREDIENTS. YOU ARE ALL ANGELS.

I’m on my third bottle. I start my day with these along with omega-3‘s and some healthy sea salt in my water. It’s been a positive on how I feel.

I bought this specifically because I am overwhelmed with how many things I have to drink with my wellness journey. So I was hoping that the pills would make taking my amino easier. I’m not quite sure how much of them I am absorbing and I guess that is why I give it four stars. I went back to my powdered amino’s, and I think it is better. However, if what you’re needing is less drink drinks then this would be a great option.

I've been plant based for 12 years and my naturopath doctor would always tell me that my protein was low. Western docs said it was fine. Once I started strength training I began taking these and my naturopath now says my protien levels are great! I was skeptical, but testing erased my skepticism. Very low calorie way to obtain protein for vegan lifters!

On the plus side: Within several weeks of taking the recommended six capsules per day of Plant Aminos, I lost 10 lbs. Then within a couple more weeks, I lost a couple more pounds, a total of 12 lbs in 7 weeks with no effort or other weight loss methods used. Since I had been stalled at my previous weight, that was a huge plus. I generally felt better, too, although I had hoped that, after taking it for a couple months, I would have a lot more energy. I didn't. However, 2 weeks after stopping the use of Plant Aminos, I've regained no weight. On the down side: After a couple months, I developed a UTI for the first time in years, which grew increasingly worse over the last month that I used Plant Aminos. It took me a while to realize that some of the amino acids can have that side effect. After 3 months' use, I stopped taking it because of that. Within a few days, the UTI began decreasing. Now 2 weeks later, it's much better without Plant Aminos, and with the use of home remedies, but is not completely resolved yet. Recommendation: Might be great for those not prone to UTI's, or for short-term use.
