I went outside to use the Army Painter color primer can to prime some modeling objects. I read the instructions on the side of the can, which told me to use a flat headed screwdriver to break the seal and remove the cap. Therefore I went back inside to get the screwdriver and open the cap.There is a clear indication of where to place the screwdriver, but the plastic just gave way and the seal did not break. I tried to pry the seal open with the screwdriver, and it punctured the can!Black paint was sprayed all over the dining table, the floor, and the bathroom, where I ran to attempt to contain the paint spraying out of the can.It took about 2 hrs. to clean up (not able to get it off the table) + a ruined shirt and ruined jeans + 89 SEK that I paid for the product. Also, I had waited 2 weeks for delivery, since the ‘matte black’ was out of stock at the time I ordered it.Pretty crappy experience all-in-all. Just glad my kids weren’t around and no one got paint in the eyes.I suggest that Army Painters change the sealing of the cans, so that using pointy metal tools against the canister will not be necessary in the future.
