Unlike the cheap Chinese variety, these actually work, and seem quite accurate. The pad colors can fall in between those on the color chart, but you'll figure it out.

The ph reading is a little higher than the actual level, but if you are aware of this you can take this into consideration. I just keep it within the range and it works for me. I would buy again.

These are great test strips. They are more expensive, but worth the extra. These are far superior to some of the cheap brands which I had found to be very unreliable (completely wrong!). I had previously brought some cheap test strips on eBay, and ended up using a lot of chemicals unnecessarily, trying to correct a problem which didn't exist. LaMotte are a proper company who specialise in water test equipment, so I trust these and have found them to be very reliable so far.The moral of the story is don't try to save a few pounds by using cheap test strips, as it could cost you a lot more in wasted chemicals, and time spent trying to put things right again. Just buy some good quality test strips (like these), and get it right first time, so you can enjoy your pool!
