This magnesium cream is overly oily and did not help with my sleep or leg cramps at all.

Absolutely amazing. Thank you! You gave me a good night's sleep . There are no dislikes for this product but one: the price....I'm 93 kg and workout 6 days a week, if i use it after every workouts it ends up costing me around 50 £ a month....but I guess that's what quality takes...it's well worth it to wake up without heavy legs, or shoulder pain, or neck stiffness...

I have literally purchased lots of this cream for years now. Recently I've noticed it has a sandy texture to it that it didn't use to have. We do not like the new texture but my husband has discovered if he takes the lid off and heats it in the microwave for 20 or 25 seconds (on a new can amount) the sandy texture goes away and makes it absolutely perfect. Its perfect for massages. It's always helped with my restless legs before bed, however I pulled a muscle in my back horribly last week. He has been using it on my back for me each night except one night over the past week. I was in horrific pain the day after he skipped putting it on my back. Could not believe the difference!! I know it's a bit pricey but if it's something you're able to splurge on you should definitely try it. We have purchased a few dozen or more alternatives, magnesium lotion, magnesium spray, different massage creams and oils, frankincense cream. Etc and we always go back to this immediately!! The amount of money we could save by buying something different is not worth the amount of downgrade the product would be.

My daughter has been taking baths with epsom salts for years to help with magnesium deficiency and the symptoms that come along with it including headaches and muscle aches. Because of congenital health issues, she doesn’t absorb nutrients well, so getting a nutrient as important as magnesium that absorbs through your skin is huge. A cream is certainly more convenient than taking a bath, so when we found out magnesium cream was available, I searched to find one that she could use. In addition to other health issues, she also happens to be allergic to two ingredients common to body creams: aloe and propylene glycol. And you got it, as of the writing of this review, this cream has neither one in it. Best of all, it really helps to relieve pain practically on contact. It helps to calm the muscles and makes massage therapy more effective and less painful especially in areas where muscle tension has created knots. I now use it too and we have recommended it to family and friends. I saw some reviews that talked about this product being gritty or lumpy. It would be great if Seven minerals makers could figure out a way to make the cream completely smooth (without aloe or propylene glycol), but the clumps are very small and soft, not granular. The cream rubs into your skin and doesn’t cause friction or pain. My daughter has neuropathy, and unfortunately the slightest touch causes her pain. This product is soothing to her even with the tiny clumps. I hope the makers read reviews. I would love to see other Seven Minerals products that exclude aloe and propylene glycol. I was ready to buy their magnesium spray for hair growth, but unfortunately, it has aloe.
