This book has lots of great activities to get you more familiar with the tarot. Really well done.

I've read a lot of books on the tarot, but this one stands out because of it's exercises and straightforward card descriptions.For each major arcana, set of court cards, and suit, there are simple exercises and spells to help you get to know the cards and experience their energy. The spells are great because most of the required items you already have, and they aren't very time-consuming.The card descriptions in this book get right to the point, which is quite refreshing. Each card has key words, a short meaning, and sample interpretations that are easy to apply to everyday life.I would highly recommend this book for tarot beginners and more experienced readers looking to get to know the cards on a deeper level. (Oh, and did I mention it's pretty and full-color? It is.)

Very helpful! Great overview of the RW tradition. I appreciate the numerous and varied sample spreads and the ideas for making a ritual out of the readings. Very handy resource!

This book was recommended to me by my Tarot teacher. It is filled with excellent information on the tarot as a deck, and each of the cards. Perfect for the beginner. The book shipped fast from the seller (thank you!) but the crazy USPS lost it along the way and it fell off the tracking radar in TN. Amazon sent me messages saying that I could request a refund but I decided instead to hold out hope that it would arrive. Today it mysteriously arrived at the local post office. All in perfect timing. Kudos to the seller for the excellent price (it wasn't available through Amazon directly) and the fast shipping. They should run the USPS.
