Love this product! I usually have quite an oily scalp but this has reduced it. It also gets a decent lather for a shampoo without sulphates. Super impressed.

I've had dandruff since I was a teenager and have tried many different shampoos and showering routines and nothing helped. It wasn't until my wife bought this shampoo for me to try that it finally went away in my late 20's. I have dark brown hair and like wearing dark clothes so it was always such an embarassing aspect of my life that I no longer have to worry about. Been using this shampoo for about 6 years now and it still works great (even in the Florida humidity). No dandruff, no itch, leaves my hair feeling soft, and retains my natural curls. My hair is about 2 to 3 inches long and I go through about 1 bottle a year washing once daily, so it requires very little for full scalp coverage. I am impartial to the smell. It doesn't smell unpleasant and isn't very strong once you rinse it out but it's not something I would want made into a sprayable scent. I am also an unscented kind of person with everything I buy so I feel that way about most things with any scent. It just smells like oregano to me. If it keeps the shampoo free of chemicals that aren't needed then it's a fair tradeoff to smell slightly herb-ish.

Full disclosure, I am not a hair professional. My hair is dark brown and of the wavy type. I had my hair buzzed off and then bleached in 2015 , then dyed a few months afterwards. Haven't done anything else to it since then. But when my dark hair did grow back, to my dismay, the frizz I had since my dweeb years in high school had also made a triumphant return. And I hated it. But having grown up in the age of information, I understood what has been made clear to us as the consumers. That, in many cases, our selection for cheap solutions come at a costly price to our bodies. Through one of these many health revelations, as a young American consumer becoming health conscious, I concluded that maybe my frizz problem could be attributed to the ingredients used for cheaper alternatives. I've since then made many changes to my life, including my diet, which led me to update many of my hygiene products to more "natural" substitutes, packaged in convenient plastic solutions. All attainable within my budget, of course. So, it's not the heaven-sent correspondence to my daily struggles, but we work with what we got. And I don't got a lot. I decided I would explore deep in the amazon for options that would more or less leave my hair nice for as long as possible in between washes, which also meant that I was looking for quality shampoo with healthier ingredients that wouldn't damage my scalp or hair... at least, according to my very limited knowledge on the science of hair maintenance. And the good news is that I am content with this one. I first bought a bottle 5 months ago, and I still have a bit left over in the bottle for another 4 or 6 uses. With this shampoo I wash my hair twice a week, and even on the day I set up for a lather, my hair isn't a greasy monstrosity as it was prior to switching to Sage. My head would just start to get noticeably oily when I rearranged the strands from their set positions, but otherwise harmless and nice enough to go for a coffee in public. However, I have been exercising more rigorously in the warmer season of California's June days, so I do try and uphold the two-days-a-week system. I kept it easy and simple, following the painless directions printed on the label since day one. The strong minty scent from the oils are pleasant to me, likely due to my taste for minty scents and flavors like dark chocolate peppermint ice cream... I understand that not all are delighted with the keen fragrance of mint-like products, but perhaps you will find that creating a new custom with a pleasant outlook can maybe, possibly, teach your senses to tolerate certain, fierce, aromas. It's all up to the individual, but I digress. Maybe it's a placebo effect, but I do feel refreshed after a good lather with this stuff. I admit, I find deep satisfaction within the brief time I use to thoroughly massage my head after a long day; basking in the mixed scents of sage, rosemary, tree tea, and the rest of the oil assortment that were aptly blended into the silvery, white goo. This is some pretty good stuff.

Really like this shampoo. I am now on my second bottle. I like the smell and it seems to thoroughly clean my hair.

This was one of the best shampoos I have used. Thickens hair without stripping it, smells nice too. Will be buying again.
