The Founder's Dilemmas

Really good
I'm happy I ordered this because it can be useful in some ways. It has a lot of practical examples of earlier entrepreneurs (pre-2012, book was written in 2012), what they did right, their mistakes, what's sacrifices they made etc. Everything is based on data collected by the author in his research and research done by others so you can be confident of what is being presented.Be aware that this book is specifically for startups in the technology and life sciences industries- meaning it is directly applicable to those industries only. If your startup isn't another industry, I would still recommend to get this book because there can always be some general lessons- but keep it in mind and adapt the messages accordingly. The book is also unique- I did not find any other book that tackles dilemmas specifically and analyzes such a large set of data.

Statistics galore
This book is mainly for statistics and interpretation of such. I wish it was simpler and more direct. Very useful for research purposes though!

this is a must.
When you start your adventure in building a business you know you have to do a business plan, and register the company. Even before you create the company YOU MUST read "The Founder's Dilemma" simply because if you don't do it you will regret at some stage, as simple as that. I haven't yet finished to read this book but all I read until now it has been very very important and something I would say it has been crucial......I can tell you that there are some mistakes that you cannot afford to do! No one can, and the only way to avoid them is to know before what the consequences will be of the spontaneous or ingenuous actions you would do. All the start-up accelerators should suggest this book to their companies and in general all the start-ups should know of the existence of this scientific research able to address great part of crucial choices that founders will face at some stage.
