Hawkins F1012 3-Piece Safety Valve for Futura Anodized Pressure Cooker

This was an easy to fit valve and did fix the cooker exactly as expected. I would surely recommend this one ..thanks for the quick delivery as well.

What can I say? These are pressure cooker safety valves. They melt open if the pressure cooker overheats, and stay closed if it doesn't. Since my Hawkins Futura pressure cooker hasn't gone dry, it hasn't overheated, and these remain on hand to ensure that I'll be able to continue to use the pressure cooker without waiting for parts, when and if that happens. The one in the cooker is functioning properly. The method of replacing them seems quite straightforward, and I don't anticipate any problems with following the directions.

oem replacement for futura style pressure cookers. After more than ten and closer to twenty years the safety valve gave way. This replaced it no problems. Just use a socket wrench to remove and install.

Product was good quality. No issues. Easy to replace. My pressure cooker back in working order.

This product has been a game changer in my kitchen. I had a hard time to use the cooker function well. My grandma was able to use to change it so that was not hard. the only thing is we just needed one, I wish it was an option.

Brilliant replacement, certainly genuine I have had my Futura stainless for maybe 10 years and this is the first time I have needed to replace the safety valve. I used a tube spanner and it was very easy. Highly recommended.

Please make sure you have the exact size wrench. Do not use pliers or similar tools. The part is made of Aluminum and pliers will leave marks. The valve however worked perfectly and was a perfect fit for our cooker
