Orbit The Witcher Stories Boxed Set: The Last Wish, Sword of Destiny

Books of great quality, the box not so much, and now there's this stupid netflix logo on the cover, but that doesn't really ruin the experience.

Sapkowski's captivating storytelling and masterful writing made for an incredibly satisfying read. Each of the 8 books transported me to a mesmerizing world. However, the excessive Netflix branding throughout the series felt intrusive and unnecessary. Despite this, I couldn't help but feel a tinge of sadness as I turned the final page, longing for more of Sapkowski's literary brilliance.

Can't put these books down.

This version is just fine for the price. Easy to bring with you somewhere to read etc. The Witcher series is overall one of the best for fantasy. The characters and setting are all top notch. It really kickstarted what many call then”grim dark” genre. This set is more the collection of short stories but as a reader you should start here. The context and background it gives you into this world really helps set you up for what comes in the main series.

I loved getting a deeper glimpse into the characters portrayed in the Netflix series. Often books like these make the characters even more vivid and compelling.
