Washing machine stopped working, this (+ YouTube) got it working quickly
Our washing machine (LG WM3570HWA) stopped working (drum didn't spin - LE error code.) I did the typical thing these days and did a youtube search for what the problem could be. LG said the motor is locked so I just needed to reset the machine or whatever. It didn't work. The video I eventually found said I needed a new hall sensor and a new cable bundle and to definitely make *sure* I bought an original LG part.I ended up at one of the parts depots online. Then another, then another. In short, I could only find one place with both the sensor and cable(s) not on backorder/in stock. And it was going to be $90 to get them to me in 2 days. This hall sensor seemed to be the best reviewed one on Amazon, and it was significantly cheaper than the real LG one. Since I have Prime, I'd have it in 2 days for less than the non-shipped cost of the "real" LG part from one of the other places. So I risked it. I figured worst-case scenario I'd order the "real" one later with the cable bundle and only be out <$15 (and admittedly 2 more days without laundry.) The washer itself is 5.5 years old. Now, obviously I can't comment on the long term viability of this product/sensor. It's only been around 3 weeks. But I can say that the two youtube videos I watched on the install/replacement were quite simple, and ended up being entirely accurate. I actually spent more time cleaning up behind the washer/dryer (come on, is it really clean behind your W/D set? Really?) than I did fixing the washer. And it turns out that my cables are still working just fine - no inadvertant wear like they mentioned was a possibility in the first video. So yeah, this was inexpensive, delivered promptly, fits perfectly, and works (and is still working 3 weeks later.) It's so inexpensive (and easy to install) that if I get 2 years out of this, I'll consider it a win. If it lasts another 5 years like the stock part did, well, even better.Edit/update: (7 Feb, 2022) 7 months later it’s still running fine.Edit/update: (2 Jan, 2024) washer started throwing codes, so I figured it was time to get another one of these. BUT, it was another issue entirely (drain pump died, and based on Amazon reviews I forked out the money for a genuine part for that.) While I was here thinking about it, figured I’d update this.So even though I said I would have been fine getting 2 years out of it, I’m happy to report I’m at 2.5 years (assuming my math is correct) and this part is still happily chugging along. I should mention it’s doing all the laundry from a family of 5.

Cleared LE code on LG WM3570HWA
My LG WM3570HWA stopped working and started throwing an LE code. The drum would easily spin both directions by hand, but whenever the motor tried to spin the drum counter-clockwise, the motor would make a croaking sound and I'd get an LE code on the display. After reading a few posts online and watching several videos, it seemed like the problem was definitely just the RPS sensor, so I ordered this product. It was a perfect fit, and only took about 15 minutes to replace the old sensor. Thankfully, it completely solved the problem, and now my washer is working perfectly. This part saved me hundreds of dollars, so I'm extremely appreciative.

Good product and easy to install
Replaced my dead hall sensor with this new one and it worked perfectly! Of all the parts I’ve replaced on my washing machine, this was by far the quickest and easiest to do! Once you remove the magnetic hub and the disc with copper coils, there are only two electrical connections to disconnect.

This was a direct plug and play for my LG WM8000HVA washer. It was a 30 min job from first screw out to last screw in.

Fixed my Kenmore elite.
Was not too hard to replace. My drum would spin freely by hand. But any time I tried a cycle, it would make an odd grinding when it tried to spin, stopped, and gave me the LE error. If these are your symptoms. Good chance this will fix your machine!
