Seen this reviewed on a youtuber’s video and it ranked in the top 3 for heat styling protection. It’s an aerosol and the scent smells great. I have naturally curly hair which I like to wear straight or wavy, so I use blow drying and flat irons. This spray hydrates, moisturizes, and seems effective in protecting my strands. I used it on my hair extensions before using the curling iron, and it gave it a great shine and glossiness. I recommend spritzing in short bursts from mid to ends. Being heavy handed with this will result in oily greasy hair.

So, i have very fine wavy blonde hair. I have been dying my hair for years though and decided to go back to blonde, which completely ruined my hair. It's super weak and damaged from the bleach, and has become textured from the hairs being stretched. Initially, I bought this product for heat protection,thinking it might make it safe to use a hair dryer. I am not sure it worked optimally for that. However: Yes as others claimed, after sleeping on my hair it felt kind of oily, but in a way that the lower fldamaged part of my hair wasn't feizzing or stretching. It was like a lubricant to keep it from frizzing and breaking. It has helped prevent further breakage. When applying, keep in mind that less is going to be more. So, for this reason, I'll be keeping and using it.

I was so surprised this item was so bad. I really have tried to make it work but it leaves your hair so greasy. I have thick long hair and this stuff makes me look like I'm dirty and haven't washed my hair in weeks. I used it sparingly and many different ways and to no avail...

Not the best smell but not the worst. I spray it on before I flat iron my hair, I follow up with a product from the same company, it's called sexy hair smooth seal That works great too and it smells like the beach! So any scent left behind by this black can goes away after I apply the smoothing spray. Worth the price.not sticky or oily. Doesnt make my hair stiff. Smooths my hair nice and I feel like it really does protect my hair from heat styling.

I watched a video by the Blowout Professor where he tested thermal protectants on whether they actually did the job of protecting or not, and this product did a good job, so I got it and I am assuming it does protect well so that's good. It says on the can to 'spray liberally' to apply but I would advise against that. I realized right away that I don't need to use much and if I do it makes my hair look a little 'greasy' (for lack of a better word). I then went on to apply my thermal iron and all was well. My hair looked and felt good, and according to the test I watched, it was protected. Another reason to apply sparingly is that this product left a heavy cloud in the air in my bathroom -- still trying to figure out what I think about that. All in all I like it, it works well and I'm glad I got it.

I use a lot of heat on my hair and this has replaced using blow dry crème and a separate heat protectant. I don’t follow their directions. I spray some in my hands and I put it on wet hair and then comb through. Putting it on dry hair makes it look almost oily. My hair doesn’t have heat damage at all. Love it.

I purchased this after watching YouTube videos of thermal paper testing on about 30 different heat protectant products. This was by far one of the best performing on the paper test. However, I am giving 3 stars because the bottle says to "spray liberally onto dry hair..." if you do this, your hair is going to look like a big grease ball! I was getting ready for work and didn't have time to wash it out so I had to use some dry shampoo to soak some of the greasy residue up. I have since used it several more times spraying very lightly onto just the last 4 or so inches of my hair. It has worked better by using less, but it still has a silicon-ish feel and looks wet/oily for several hours. It has some resistance when I use my straightener (my straightener doesn't run through my hair near as smoothly as without product). It also has a cheap bar of soap smell to it. It may protect hair, but I am still on the hunt for a product that checks the other boxes... texture, residue, dry time, smell.

Protects hair without making it heavy or greasy. Gives a nice shine, too. Scent isn't strong, which is a bonus.

Hace años probé la versión de color azul y hoy que vuelvo a utilizarlo, mi cabello vuelve a ponerse bonito!!!! Es un aerosol para planchar te el pelo o para usar la tenaza. Cuidado de aplicar solamente la cantidad justa, de lo contrario puede quedarte grasoso el pelo. Protege súper bien del calor y deja muy brillante y sedoso el cabello. Yo lo tengo pintado y respetó muy bien el color también. Seguiré comprando el producto!

Ca colle aux cheveux et pas très efficace

This spray is really horrible. Made my hair so greasy and weighed it down. The worst part is Amazon will not allow a return because it’s an aerosol so I cannot even get a refund. Really disappointed.
