very good for weighing something that needs accuracy
I am very satisfied with the digital scale. Definitely worth the money. I am using it mainly for weighing something light but needs to be accurate ( yeast in my case). The scale gives me the accuracy I need. However, I would caution people not to use the plastic covers to protect the scale while measurement is done. I made that mistake and found that the plastic cover is stopping the scale from measuring accurately. Beware !!

A bit temperamental on light weights
The scales can be a bit temperamental with light weights (eg.0.05g). I use it for measuring yeast and the scales will often ‘skip’ - I’ll add a few grains when it reads 0.04, and keep adding until it suddenly jumps to 0.06. I’ve found it helps to lift the tray from the scale and replace it to get an accurate reading (moving the tray can cause it to jump 0.02g). The small trays it comes with are good, and helpful. Now I’m used to the quirks, I’ve adjusted - but be prepared to double check weights until you’re used to it.

Not accurate, scale and plastic bowls defected
It’s defected & doesn’t weigh accurately.As you can see in my video, the bottom of the scale is uneven and doesn’t sit flush.I tried other surfaces like glass, kitchen bench top, wooden floor, metal filing cabinet etc.. no matter what surface I put on, it was still uneven. Very unfortunate as I need an accurate reading scale. The plastic bowls that comes with it isn’t flat and doesn’t sit flash on top of the scale either.The scale can't make up its mind, with 0.05-0.15 difference, going back and forth. Takes so much time checking, 5-8 times, it's just not viable.

Great for Coffee or Spices
I use it for setting up my coffee machine - just getting started on with the Brista Pro machine. This is perfect for measuring coffee to put in the grinder, with fine sun-gram measurement. Also compact enough to put under the brewing head to measure how much coffee is going into the cup.Highly recommend for anyone starting out at home and as a must-have for new coffee machine.

Dialing in the dose
Small enough to fit under double portafilter on breville dual boiler to measure a shot.Not bad for the price so can't complain
