I always used this type of product when I paint vehicles.

Bought the filter and Regulator and was impressed with the looks and over all function. However before I could start using it I had to get the fittings to hook it up. THEY ARE NOT STANDARD PIPE as pipe has tapered threads they are however O=Ring and once you understand that all the leaks disappear. The regulator is designed to go on the bottom of the filter not the top ,as I seen in many of the pictures folks posted. So I give it 4 stars because all of this should be in the assembly instructions. Most folks have no idea the different types of fittings and conversions. So if you want to stop getting leak reports fix your directions.

I purchased this POS last June for a planned project. The project did not materialize. Yesterday I needed to spray a couple of base cabinets. I have 5 spray guns of various brands. This POS fits none of them. The female threaded top cannot be attached to the male threaded connection on any of the guns. Potential buyers beware. You've been warned.

Great product! I bought it for my friend to work on a project. Everything works fine when using it with an air impact and some other common air tools- no air leaking! Perfectly match with various spray guns!

I use this in line with a 4 valve airbrush adapter. I had to remove upper adaptor fitting, clean, and use significant amount of plumbers tape to stop leak. Valve goes from closed to full open with only a couple of turns vice gradually when opening. Have to keep valve knob loose to allow valve to completely close or remove knob completely and use small wrench. I wanted to run my pump at 60PSI and control the air at the brushes from 28 to 40, to minimize pump cycling, depending on what I was painting and they type of paint. Right now it's really only a pressure monitor that is easier for me to see the gauge than the one on my pump. Fortunately it was not expensive.
