Basis Hydration Low Sugar Powder Packets, Electrolyte Mix, Keto-Friendly, Pregnancy Dehydration Relief - for Workout Travel Sports (Variety Pack, 30 Sticks)

I'm used to the potent flavoring of the Liquid I.V. - I have my favorite go to flavors, but I was searching for a product without any extra additives that I could use and not feel full or bloated. If you've ever had a Liquid IV - they are great, don't get me wrong - but when you switch, you will notice a HUGE difference b/c there isn't that overwhelming taste that you have to adjust to. Maybe it is the lack thereof? It's a hint of a flavor, which at first I didn't understand how that would work, but now I get it. It is KETO friendly, it's CLEAN, it's LOW SUGAR... you aren't reaching for your favorite junky sports drink after a workout or night out - this is a clean way to hydrate that will supplement your lifestyle. I'm going to recommend this to my mom as she has been on some new low carb diet for diabetes type 2, she's lost a lot of weight really quickly - but I just want to make sure she's hydrating properly. She's also anemic, so we don't need her passing out. Anyway, excited to share. Plus - it's super easy to keep in your bag (work bag, travel bag, purse, gym bag, vehicle) anywhere really... just add it to some water and you're good.

I literally can't remember the last time I've written a review for ANYTHING but I'm seriously so disappointed with these. I don't know if I got a lemon and any other order of these would have been different, but from my experience, I barely taste anything at all. And I added my packets to only 8 ounces of water! Far less than what's recommended! Yet I still just taste as if it's flavored flat water, if anything. No tartness, no sweetness, and almost 0 flavor whatsoever. I'll be sticking with Cure hydration for now. Super disappointed.

I started taking this when I was pregnant and it was a lifesaver while I was breastfeeding. When I weaned I stopped taking it for a while and noticed a massive difference in energy. I was feeling really slugglish and tired and wondered if it was b/c I was dehydrated. Sure enough, I went back to it and wow, I feel a million times better. I did try another brand (Liquid IV) but hated the fake-sugar taste and it also has twice the amount of sugar!! Basis is by far the best. The travel packets are convenient for on the go, but I do wish they made a big tub that you could scoop for home use. I recommend getting the variety pack first so you can see which flavor you like....my favorite is the blackberry lemon, and the cranberry is a close second.

This has been my favorite electrolyte mix from an array of companies and flavors and content one thing I do wish is they would make a bulk container in addition to the packets, as these are great for travel or taking with to work but unnecessary in packaging if this is something you use daily, which I do that another drawback is this is also among one of the more expensive friends it does seem to work well, but in the winter time in the midwest I tend to double up on my electrolyte and I just cannot afford to purchase that amount. I do feel however if they were to offer a bulk container this would save a great deal in processing and would be something they could pass on to their customers by all means, if this is in your budget for everyday use, go for it that it has been the best supplement I have found.

I needed a colorless flavored additive that looks like water in a transparent bottle. Searched high and low and these passed the test, mostly. The blackberry lemon is the clearest (pictured in the water bottle) but rated 2/3 on flavor. It's drinkable but not super tasty- it's coming on my trip as a backup. The cranberry has the best flavor and is clear with just a slight yellow tint, and passes as plain water in a 'transparent smoke' Nalgene bottle- this is the winner! The 3rd flavor with the melon is cloudy white and the worst electrolyte flavor I've ever tried- total fail. Mission accomplished. It's important to note, if you're used to the flavors of Pedialyte then these flavors are pretty rough, but the cranberry one is a healthier and colorless alternative.

I love this stuff. I was buying a different brand every week at the grocery store. Now I’m on the automatic delivery with basis and it’s better for my body and my wallet. I already get enough damn sugar in a day. I do not need the extra sugar in my water that some other brands have. I suck at drinking enough water…it’s hard to get all those ounces in everyday! I feel like if I can at least get 1 packet of basis in then I am doing my body a solid. I know it’s probably great for work outs and stuff but it’s also perfect for hangovers. My husband works outside in the heat and he uses it to stay hydrated and my teenagers use it when they play sports. I like all of the flavors, my automatic delivery is the mix pack but I wanted to try the new lemon lime so I ordered that here on Amazon. I always have a couple packets in my purse and I bring it with me if I travel. No complaints, would recommend.

I don't know the last time I wrote a review, let alone a BAD one; but I just had to on these. I have tried many varieties of these electrolyte powders. This brand comes in at #2 as the worst! The #1 [Worst] is the variety pack by Hydralyte. Both my husband and myself like more tart or "dry/sour" tasting things, so I thought we might actually like these over what the reviews said....NOT The taste wasn't too dry or tart...the taste was either "Funky" or an attempt to make it "Sweet", but just made it Sickly Sweet AND Funky. The Grapefruit/Melon was actually as bad as everyone said! The Blackberry-Lemon was the most reasonable one--probably because of the Lemon. The Cran-Raspberry had very little taste at all. I give this brand 2-Stars over the other brands 1-Star only because 2 of the 3 were tolerable vs. the other of 1 out of 4 being tolerable. Regardless, I can do much better with other brands, than just "tolerable"; so needless to say I will never be buying these again.
