We have no experience in baking or royal icing and we just did some designs from scratch and the colors did tint the icing quite well. They are flavorless and we also mixed the colors and reached good results. I don’t have any comparison because this is my first use of food coloring but it did what it was intended to without compromising the consistency of the icing. Ours was too stiff anyways but this is due to the icing mix not the color. When I mixed the colors they seemed not so intense but on the cookies they really came out vibrant evenso we decided to make a toned down color pattern for the animal designs.

I actually used these for an art activity, marbling paper with these and shaving cream. They were stunning. Beautiful, vibrant color, compared to your average grocery store food coloring. I can't wait to try them in food!

This product was good overall but I think I would prefer a power color. I had to use so much to get the color I needed that it thinned out my icing.

The colors were so off. Dark blue was purple, red was pink, nothing was a rich color! Don’t waste your money.

These make my frostings into beautiful colors and even taste a bit sweeter

I haven’t used it yet, I thought they’d be bigger but the box is really really small. Each bottle is the size of my pinky.
