KICKER CVR104 (43CVR104) 10" CompVR Series Subwoofer

I've had Kicker in years past. Never had an issue, but I was going to go with another brand. After a lot of research I chose a pair of these. It was because of the brand, the look, the price point, the minimum airspace spec (underseat truck box) and the power rating. After breaking them in MAN have I been pleasantly surprised. They sound great. Nice tight thumb with quick hitting heavy metal and a really good deep bass when I listen to old-school rap. I thought about the Kicker shallow mount equivalent but they were nearly double the price, and these have a depth that was right at 3/4" away from the bottom of the underseat box I used, so they fit nicely.

Paired these gems with a kicker CXA1200.1 and did these come to life! I wired them down to 1 ohm and do they sound incredible. You get what you pay for. Premium sound for premium price, says a 30 year car audio fanatic. Enjoy!!!

I bought two and wired them to a rockville db13 which puts out 750 watt @2ohm. Wiring the subs in parallel and the coils in a series, it makes your final ohm load at 2ohm. I had bought the 4ohm version but you cant wire them down to 2ohm, you can only wire them to 1 or 8 with a dual set up, so they got returned. Paired with a 1.8 cubic foot sealed box I made, they rattle the windows of my f250.

Installed it in a COMP C 10" Ported wedge box sits under 2008 Silverado Crew cab back seat, this speaker is 1/2' taller, then the original Comp C, I cut a ring, installed it and the rest is history, Great speaker, very happy, going to break it in slow

I have had this subwoofer for 2 years now and has not failed on me it bumps, pushes bass alot when playing decaf songs and Mexican songs. Recommend Kicker. My Specs: Amplifier: 1400 Watt 5 Channel Powerbass Class A/B for lows, mids, and highs. Stereo: Pioneer AVH-290 BT. Bass Processor: Audiocontrol Epicenter for songs that require bass and need to fix bass. Wiring: Kicker 4 Ohm Subwoofer wired in parallel creating 2 Ohm load, Audiocontrol Epicenter wired straight to Amplifier. All Wire Type OFC for better performance just except for speakers that use CCA.

I wired it up in parallel to accomplish 2 ohm load and wow this thing rocks!

It lasted couple days past the date you can take back sucks cause it's not cheap
