Chiseled Face Groomatorium Cedar & Spice Aftershave Splash Handmade, Small Batch, Luxury Grooming Products

When I read the description of cedar and spice luxury grooming, I had visions of earthy, fragrant essential oils of a cedar forest and mysterious spices carefully blended to make this a compelling scent. It smells like mentholated muscle lineament. Splash some of this on and women are going to think you covered yourself in Ben-Gay or Icy-Hot. You would smell the same if you slapped on Vicks Vapo-Rub. This is by far the absolute worst scented product I've ever purchased. You would be better off with a cheap bottle of barbershop hair tonic at $8.00 a gallon. This must be a practical joke. I can't imagine anyone wearing this on purpose.

I have used, and like, other Chiseled Face products. This suffers from a packaging/branding issue. My bottle did not smell like either cedar or spice. A sniff from the bottle was promising; some spicy notes, maybe a little wood, but also a predominate forest floor, mossy, and camphorous heart. I splashed it on and, in application, got none of the more pleasant top notes that the initial sniff suggested; all moss and patchouli. In a non-sarcastic appraisal, is smells petrol(all day working in the garage) and mossy. This is a very dirty scent. Aggressive. Not for the office or date night.

This is a very earthy, masculine aftershave. The scent of cedar is the most identifiable smell, which is very complex and appealing. I don't get much more than a hint of patchouli. This is a robust, manly smelling aftershave that braces the skin comfortably. It's not for everyone, but if you like old school spicy aftershave # this one's for you.

I love this scent. First tried a sample size of it before purchasing a large bottle. I also have the shaving soap. This aftershave compliments most tobacco or spice accented shave soaps. Chiseled Face products have performed very well for me and the scents are complex and of very good quality.

My husband has to use something after he shaves and this works very well. He likes the scent and I really really like the scent!

I got my husband started on the cedar and spice shaving soap with a full-out razor and brush kit last year. This just completes the total yumminess. It is a whole forest, the warmest flannel shirts, a nice roaring fireplace, and a whole lot of cuddle time in a little bottle. Keep making this! I will keep buying it!

Can't put my finger on the fragrance, but I love it! Makes me think of an old wood working shop. With a spicy ceder-turpentine smell. But much more pleasant. However I did find the fragrance to be short lived. But its not 80.00 a bottle either. Which means I can use it at will, every day if I like! It did leave my face feeling good!

The scent is what I love, cedar and spices but not that woody nor to much spice, and a little bit of menthol that makes you feel cool in the wind, the scent is soft but stands for hours, an of course the smooth sensation of a face well shaved, recovering natural oils with this magic poison!
