Book Review
Silverfin, a thrilling novel written by Charlie Higson, is a story of a young fifteen year old boy named James Bond. It is the second book in the Young Bond Series. The novel starts off with James at his school Eton, located in England. He soon makes enemies when he enters a competition set up by Lord Randolph. James does not win the competition, but neither does George Hellebore the clear favor. The next part of the novel jumps to Easter break when James is going to visit his uncle in Scotland. On the train he meets a boy named Red Kelly and he tells James of the disappearing of his cousin. This mystery intrigues James and both boys investigate and soon find Lord Hellebore to be the suspect. The boys spend the rest of their break searching to prove it was Hellebore. I strongly recommend this novel because it keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time. If you enjoy heart racing, action packed novels Silverfin is the book for you.

Good book
I thought this book was very good. I liked the events in which James was lead to Red Kelly. It all started at Eton school in England. James was feeling tired after a long semester of school and went to Pett Bottom, England for a vacation at his Aunt and Uncle's house. He meets Lord Hellebore, a rich man making a deadly thing called SilverFin. James doesn't want this to happen. In the event of trying to stop him, James is imprisoned by Lord Hellebore. James escapes, proves Hellebore's crimes and gets him imprisoned. I liked the book, but it was a bit predictable and childish. It was good casual reading but I wouldn't be intent to finish the series and won't be excited for the movie. But it was fun to read.
