Quality for price and authenticity
Buy many instruments from around the world. By far this is the most authentic and accurate sounding instrument I have bought - so far from Amazon partners. Beautiful finish, great harmonics, and great to play.

Incredible buzz, high action, piece of junk.
I just returned this Santa Rosa cuatro and must tell you why you absolutely should not buy it. *IF* you must buy it make sure you can return it for free (I could) because I doubt you will be happy with it. Mine had buzzing on almost all of the strings no matter what tuning it was in and the finish was very rough. What is crazy is that the action was VERY high and yet the strings still buzzed a LOT. I honestly don't know how this is possible because I have never received an instrument new OR used in this bad of a condition.

Sounds nice
The Santa Rosa is a nice instrument. The only issue I have is that the frets where not sanded down. So it left sharp edges. And there where minor blemishes nothing major. Still a nice instrument and sounds nice.

Hairline fractures
The instrument (el cuatro) was inside a fitted box that was in a bigger box with poor padding. All it had was paper which did not prevent the smaller box from moving around. The cuatro arrived with hairline fractures on the outside of it. Looks like I am out of luck because it is going to cost way to much to return this item. Hopefully this will not prevent it from tuning because if it does I am out $119. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Beautiful guitar. My father was very happy to receive it for Father's Day BUT it was made defective. As you pluck the strings toward the bottom they are not their own individual tune because of the wooden bar that was not placed right so the strings all sound the same. Disappointed.

It was beautiful! Well packed, since outside pkg was a bit damaged...the Cuatro wasn't. Came on time. It was a birthday gift well loved.
