National Geographic United States Wall Map - Classic (Poster Size: 36 x 24 in) (National Geographic Reference Map)

I use this board to track sales from my Etsy business. It is easy to find cities around the map, and has a bunch of smaller cities in the map. Great for a cork board, but you'll need to trim it down a little to get it to fit.

This is a beautiful United States map. Exactly what I was looking for. I used a little spray adhesive to mount it to a sheet of foam board. You can find the foam board at any hobby shop already the same size as the map. This map is the perfect size to hang on the wall and mark where you have been or where you want to go. Map pins work great with the foam board backing. It is laminated very nice. All larger cities and hundreds of smaller cities and towns are well marked. They also did a great job with the roads and highways.

I bought this to put up on our big "dream" wall in our home. This map is very detailed and the type is very small yet legible. I will be using flag stickers for our family to each mark where they have been and where they want to go. Born and raised in Hawaii, we don't think much about where each state is located until we have to travel. So this helps us pick a different spot every year to visit. This is a lightweight map with a thin lamination on it. I used a regular stapler to tack this up on the wall.

Exactly as described, but, wish the lamination was a lot thicker. This is the thin stuff that teachers get laminated in the big machines in schools. I was hoping it was the thick stuff that is harder to bend. Also wish it came in larger sizes. Overall, great detail on product.

This map was great and arrived quickly! However i was purchasing to mount on cork and put in a frame and then stick with pins. I quickly realized i should have gotten the laminated one. I returned this one and purchased the laminated map through amazon which was then shipped very quickly! If you have access to a laminator the tubed would be fine but for what I was doing i needed it laminated. The map looks really sharp though and is able to list so many towns which i think is really cool too!

My daughter wanted a US map for her dorm room. This one was a good pick because of the size and the price. We had to trim the edges off to fit it onto the bulletin board (which was the same size including the trim - WalMart). There was just enough plain border on the map to not trim off any land or ocean. It's laminated. My daughter will be putting pins in it though. She's going to mark places that she's been, places she wants to go, and places she doesn't want to go to because they are too haunted! They'll all be color coded with colored pins. Anyway, she really likes the map!
