NOT comparable to saniderm or tegaderm
I have used saniderm and tegaderm for tattoos with NO ISSUES. While this looks almost exactly like saniderm it is harder to apply and it has a different adhesive, I think, because now I have a nasty rash along the edges of where the bandage was. I can’t reapply another bandage without it touching the rash so now I have to heal my tattoo the “old fashioned” way and this stuff is going in the trash.

CAUSED PAINFUL RASH AND DAMAGED SKIN
The first time applying the bandage was already coming off of the transfer paper and would not stick to my skin (freshly washed and completely dry) the second attempt finally adhered to the skin. After removing with warm water the bandage still took all of my skin off and damaged it as well as left a very painful rash which after a few days has still not gone away and is making the healing process a nightmare. I have several very large pieces and have never had this issue and before anyone assumes it was an issue with my artists products the rash is the worst on the parts of the skin touched by the bandage that were not tattooed on. There are tiny painful blisters all over my arm. DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT

Game changer
I have quite a few tattoos. When I got my last one my artist suggested trying covering it with plastic for 5 days or when it peels and then applying aquaphore. My tattoo was completely healed in 7 days. Fastest and best quality heal I have ever had.

WARNING!! CAUSE HORRIFIC SKIN REACTION! DO NOT USE DO NOT USE
Used this on myself after a tattoo and I had a HORRIBLE skin reaction. I've used actual saniderm brand before, no problems at all, but after one night of this on, woke up with a HORRIBLE skin reaction.I noticed within a few hours my mew tattoo was feeling itchy (this come 3-4 days into the healing process usually). By the next morning it was so itchy and red and inflamed looking, I had to take the bandage off. In the EXACT shape of the adhesive bandage my skin had broken out in a red, bumpy rash, that was SO itchy I thought I was going to rip my skin off. I left the bandage off and waited a few days to see if it would get better (put cortisone cream on the rash, and triple antibiotic ointment on the fresh tattoo) but it just got worse. Turned into a full blown allergic reaction rash that also spread over top of the fresh tattoo, keeping it from closing properly. Ended up in urgent care where they confirmed I was having an allergic reaction and agreed it was the adhesive bandage and nothing to do with the tattoo itself (I was not swollen [except the rash was raised], and the tattoo was not in any pain or discomfort, nor discolored, leading everything to the conclusion it had nothing to to with the tattoo). I had to use a topical steroid cream and was put on antibiotics as a preventative measure since the rash was keeping the skin over the tattoo from healing properly.I have sensitive skin, and have had allergic reaction rashes to other things as well, so Im sure most ppl are fine. HOWEVER why risk it? It was a horrible experience (two weeks later the skin is still slightly discolored) Spend the extra money and get saniderm.
