I've read a multitude of books on corporate culture and business leadership, and have an MBA from a very good school. We spent quite a bit of time in a couple courses talking about the culture of GE and how that was shaped under Jack Welch. As much or even more attention should be given to the study of Chick-fil-A's culture! This book is very well-written and easy to read, the concepts are so simple that it's a wonder why there aren't more companies adopting the model, especially in a copycat business world that we operate in. The people at Chick-fil-A really understand the meaning of service, and how it is the single best way to lead a fulfilling life.

Beginning with an inside look at the culture of Chic-fil-A, Dee Ann draws the reader in with her easy writing style. An informative look at what it takes to recognize, hire and nurture good talent in a business was illustrated with genuine stories from the author's thirty years with Truett Cathy and his family.
