Andis 64084 Carbon-Infused Steel UltraEdge Dog Clipper Blade, Size-40, 1/100-Inch Cut Length

I'm a professional groomer. This blade is nice and sharp, and arrived as expected. Update: three years later, this is my favorite 40 blade. Still as sharp as the day it arrived and easy to clean. I groom 5 to 7 dogs a day, and it's held up beautifully.

It is a high quality product that does an outstanding job of clipping the hair on pet ears, foot pads and tummy area. For anyone who grooms dogs or grooms their own pet as we do, this blade is fabulous. The Andis Clipper comes standard with the size 10 all purpose blade. I highly recommend the purchase of this 40 blade as well for areas where a close clip is needed. You will be glad you have the 40 added to your blade inventory.

I use it on my cat to remove matted fur. Would have given it 5 stars but does not seem as sharp as I expected.

First use .25mm don't know about longevity but got under the dreaded mattes fur on backside of legs. Cut thru like going thru butter. Exactly what I hoped to happen.

though i am not a pro groomer, i do cut a lot of dogs and i get these blades for my local vet, they are terrific. easy to install and easy to take out...they clean easily and cut perfectly and fast... i am totally satisfied with these clipper blades....
