This is a far way better action camera considering budget with a good video. You will never get wrong with the Akaso V50 pro. A must have.

Wow, amazing value for the price point. I unboxed the device yesterday and tried out a number of features. Everything worked as expected and the video quality was really good. I recorded a few scenes - even dunking the camera & waterproof case into my aquarium while filming. The camera operated flawlessly and the waterproof housing stayed bone dry. I plan on taking the camera on a scuba trip to Mexico in July and cannot wait to see our recorded footage.

Very good value item particularly when compared to the well know opposition. Useful screens (front and rear) and intuitive controls. Seems robust and recorded picture quality looks good even on a large flat screen tv. I'm using mainly to record walks and holidays rather than action as such and the compact size makes the camera easy to transport. Delivered with a multitude of accessories which should cover most of the ways to mount the camera and also a spare battery. Image stabilisation is OK so far but not yet tried in more challenging ways (such as the handlebars on my bike). I bought the external mic separately though this is only really needed if audio is a major factor for use.

Update...Akaso contacted me after seeing my review and sent a replacement camera. The touch screen operation is night and day different from my original camera. The new camera works as expected and based on this unit I would have no problem purchasing this camera again.In this day and age where all vendors and selling pretty much the same item the only thing they really have to sell is customer service. Akaso understands this and they took good care of me.I purchased this to use along with my GoPro Hero 6. The image stabilization works pretty good and the video quality is very nice. Just like all action cameras it needs good light.The camera comes with lots of accessory mounts and the remote control is a nice touch. It seems to work well. The 2 extra batteries and the dual charger are also nice to have.I was a little disappointed to find out it only records in MOV format and that is not mentioned anywhere that I find on the Amazon listing. It is not that big of a deal to convert to MP4 but it would be nice to state this in the specifications.The touch screen works but not that good. It takes me several touches to get the screen to do what I want so if in a hurry, forget it. It seems that you need to touch in front of the indicator markers and not on them.When trying to scroll through the menus it is hit or miss and more times that not it just opens one of the sub menus instead of scrolling. There are times when I cannot get it to scroll at all.Maybe I got the one camera with a faulty touch screen.I watched this camera because it goes on sale frequently. I got it for $129 instead of the normal $154.Would I buy it again? Probably not based on the copy I have.
