We have a network closet at work that has a bunch of switches and routers and other stuff I don't understand. A switch was swapped out to a new Dell model and the new model had an annoying high-pitched whine from the cooling fans. I don't mind the typical whir and buzz, but this high-pitched whine was greatly annoying. I ordered two sets of these and mounted them with 3M poster mounting tabs to the inside of the door to the closet. That resulting in a great decrease to the whine of the fans. I can still hear them if I am near the closet, but it is much more tolerable. The closet is definitely much less noisy now. Great quality product, made in the USA, that didn't need to be un-vacuum packed.

This foam is quite sturdy and seems to reduce a significant amount of room echo in my home theater. I was very glad that is does NOT come compressed, which makes for fast installation. Putting these behind the main speakers (under the screen) I had to attach them to 2" foam panels I have blocking the windows. The t-pins were the way to go here. Recommend this product.

They came as advertised, but I was looking to use these for noise reduction, and they did not help much.

The foam is thick and the room sounds perfectly flat. Ships in a box with no vacuum bags. Arrived full size.. no water or dryer need. As sound attenuation it works very well. However, color and sizing are not uniform. I ordered 48 panels and went through ALL of them to get to this 30 panel wall (see the picture). Several of the panels are just grey. They don't match at all. And there aren't enough gray panels to make the look in the seller's picture. And even in the instruction sheet that comes with each pack it says dimensions +/- 1 INCH. An inch is huge if you're trying to make something that looks good with the bright lights on. Trying to match odd sizes and odd colors was disappointing, to say the least. I will say with only the RGB's on, the color looks great, but in white light, as the picture shows, they are not uniform. I had planned to cover most of the wall but had to settle for this 30 panel patch.. and even that isn't perfect. If you are looking for perfection - function, color and sizing - this is definitely not Auralex. Auralex costs 5 times more, though. 3 stars from me. Better than the super cheap import options, but not as good as the high end stuff.

These are good for if you want to make the audio quality on your work calls or recordings sound better, but as for sound proofing they do next to nothing.
