I was really excited to get this book for my three year old as she is obsessed with all things gruffalo. The condition was stated as good and when it arrived it had a few bumps, bends and stickers, all expected and absolutely fine. Until I went to open the book that clearly hasn’t been checked properly as the first two pages were stuck together with chewing gum. I am utterly disappointed that the first thing I had to do was pick someone else’s chewing gum off the first page, this took off some words from the book. Next time I would urge the seller to check the condition of something before just selling it as good.

The kids love me reading this book, it grabs their attention at bedtime.But please dont make any more kate winslet audiobooks or to whoever is producing them her reading style is so uncomfortable and highwired!!! She sounds like a constantly annoyed yorkshire woman-Amazon please get a cute voiced reader for audiobooks please, a voice thats soft and friendly.

You can’t go wrong with a Gruffalo Book so this comes highly recommended in our house! We are currently using books as a reward for good behaviour and watching the film while reading the book to encourage reading with our 2 and a 1/2 year old and it’s working so well thanks to wonderful books like this! A great story and a great priced board book!

We love board books at our house. We have quite a few of them and use read/re-read them all the time. They are in between paper and hardback books and can take quite a bit of wear and tear with toddlers We are on to our second child with board books and they still look good (not brand new but a paperback would not classed as a book at the same stage). Would highly recommend these.

A continuation of the famous Gruffalo book- and it's another well told, very well animated story.Me and my son read this book most evenings before bed- he loves the story of the big bad mouse- and the rhyme that the story tells is fun for him- and also easy for him to remember- I'm always hearing him playing gruffalos child with his toys.A fun story for both child and parent!
