Review -- When I was a kid I remember reading the little gold leaf books as my mom called them. I purchased these books for my nieces as a special keepsake collection. They come in a beautiful green box as pictured. The quality of the box is great as you will want to keep so you can keep the collection together. The books are great quality as well and have held up great. However, these books are better kept out of hands of little littles. They are hard back covers but the pages are paper, so could easily be torn. LOVE!

Love this little box of Golden Books is so cute! It includes Belle, Cinderella, Mulan, Tiana, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Moana, Merida, Snow White, Elsa, and more! They each have the original story that matches the movie as expected. The pictures are vibrant and the quality is great! Of course, the binding is gold... the best part!

This book was a big hit with my 8-year-old niece! Fun stories and just the right amount of adventure. Great Christmas present that she couldn’t put down!

If you want to be a star at the party and outshine all the other relatives gifts to your little birthday princess, this book set could be a sure bet. In fact she stopped opening the remaining presents and wanted to just start reading the stories right then and there. The books are short but not too short, the illustrations are suitable (with the style exceptions that other reviewers have pointed out) and well done, the quality is good for the price and the box for the set looks durable enough to pass on to the next generation if not abused. A few of the stories seem slightly disjointed to me and could've been written better, but fine literature it's not. It is fodder for four year olds. The twelve books cover most of the currently popular princesses that I'm aware of and all the heroines our newly-minted four year old knows about. She has also just started reading so these are proving to be a good incentive for her. She really is "princess crazy" right now so these are a big hit.

So high quality! The books are all hard cover which was a pleasant surprise! Such a great find! My toddler loved it!!

The stories do take a few liberties with the content, especially if one is familiar with the cartoons. Regardless, they are still enjoyable and we've been reading one every night (after watching the cartoon). The princess can't get enough. I am surprised by the vocabulary, I had expected much easier reading, but there were a few challenging words (this is a good thing) that the princess will have trouble with in a few years when she reads them for herself.

Reading one of those with your kids in bed just before sleep will make than happy.

Perfect to add to my daughter’s book collection. Such a good price too!
