My favorite headphones for listening to audiobooks in the pool
Edit: Headphones developed an issue with the mic and volume controls, and customer service replaced them as soon as I emailed them.tl;dr: These headphones are the best for audiobooks while swimming and biking.Sound and call quality are comparable to headphones at the same price point. The band fits comfortably around my neck and head and didn't get pulled off doing a flip turn in the pool. I keep several audiobooks on the device and select which one I want to listen to from the app. These are the only headphones I've found that have an app for navigating on device audiofiles, which is my favorite feature. They're light as well. The bluetooth protocol pierces about 1/16th inch into water so there's no getting around bluetooth not working while swimming. However, they have an FM receiver and I was able to receive audio underwater with my higher end transmitter. They work well for mountain and trail biking for the same reasons. Short wires and don't move around on my neck. They can't get lost on the trail and can be worn with a helmet. You can pop the earbuds out of your ears without stopping. They're waterproof so dust, mud, and water aren't an issue and you can keep your phone turned off if you want. I have a preference for using foam eartips for swimming and triple flange eartips for passive noise isolation so I replaced the ones that came with these. The only downside I can find is in in file navigation. The back and forward buttons go to next song, so I run my audiobooks through mp3directcut cut them into a series of 2min mp3s so I have navigation.

MP3 works well, Bluetooth not so much for swimming
I bought this product to help decrease the monotony of swimming laps. It is great that it has Bluetooth, mp3 and fm radio capability. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth really doesn't work well with swimming. I know there are limits on the capabilities of these types of products, but any type of water that gets on it distorts the reception. It doesn't work very well doing freestyle and anything on your back, forget about it.. I swim in a 25 yard pool having my phone in the middle while swimming on the lane next to the edge, so distance isn't the problem. But over all the mp3 has been working great. The fit in the ear is great, but the ear pieces do come off somewhat easy if you are frequently readjusting them. I did take another reviewer's advice in using some type of glue on the very precarious wire connections to try to increase their lifespan. I haven't tried the radio in the water yet, but I will try to update when I do. Overall, very good product and would buy again.

Works very well. took a little time to figure out things not in the booklet.
I purchased this for use while swimming laps at the local pool. I have used it for over 4 weeks now. For some reason my review didn't post so I am updating it. I have read through all the negative reviews and expected something to happen about now however. my headset is still going strong. I have charged it a couple times but only because I didn't want to fully drain the battery. I have used the MP3 player portion, the FM radio and have tested out the Bluetooth functions. Bluetooth works like any other set I have I just haven't tested the range. As far as the FM radio function is concerned it is good for strong signal radio stations and you will need the phone App to scan for radio stations before you use it. The down side for the FM portion is you can not manually enter a station frequency or delete frequencies that you want to skip or are weak signal. But it is a local FM player if you need that. I found it manageable although I had a hard time getting my favorite station to scan in. The MP3 player portion is what I have used the most while swimming. There are some options that you have to play all songs, shuffle between the songs you select and to loop on a single song. This was not clearly explained and was only discovered while holding down the forward button for 1 second. Also you have the option to create playlists out of the files you have downloaded. I found that in order to get the headset to play the playlist you have to select the playlist in the App and select the first song title in the playlist. There is still more playing that I plan to do with this. It would be a little nicer if everything didn't have to go through the App to set up but it only takes a few minutes each time I put them on. I have had a problem with a couple songs act like they aren't tracking properly. I will need to check these two songs out a little more to see if it is a bad recording or a memory problem causing the music to skip. I currently have about 800 M of music loaded so there is still plenty of room to experiment. My experience with memory is that the higher percentage used the more that problems start to appear. I will be monitoring the performance and will update after another few months. But I am happy with the performance and enjoy the many different ways I can use this.

Battery dead after 6 months. No help from factory or Amazon.. Don't waste your money!
Sound was pretty good. The battery, however, could not hold a charge. Even when new, it needed to have the charger on it after 60 minutes. Very inconvenient and lately would not charge at all. Chinese factory suggested that I was charging at too high a voltage, which wasn't the case.
