Super
I don't know why some users left a few bad reviews for this item is unbelievably good for the price range! I am happy I came across Sunny sb-1709 before committing to the Schwinn IC4-8. Everything is comparable and lays on the same grass, but having the heart rate monitor pads on my Sunny is priceless And the aggressive downside handle oh may guud top top top

Pretty solid
After I stopped going outside due to COVID, I've originally purchased a spin bike that has a hard sponge form brake pad. Which was making annoying squeaky noise, so I returned and bought one with a leather padded brake pad. Then the padded leather just fell off after a month or so, and again I had to return it. I sort of realized that those break pads wont really last a long time no matter what material is used, so I purchased this one. The magnetic is really strong. At a maximum setting, I can actually stand on the bike and the resistance is really hard, which is great. One thing is that, I've gained quite a lot of weight since COVID, and the seat is sort of making a squeaky noise a bit if my body moves a lot on the bike. It is solid enough so I don't feel unsafe but It is not like professional level bikes you would see at the gym. The thing is, I actually look for one of those pro-level bike and they were over 3k USD. So, I am quite happy with this purchase. Good value for the pice I'd say.

pros and cons
Pros Heavy duty and very strong Very good price compare to other models available Easy to assemble, no need for professional assistance cons The seat is very small and uncomfortable, one can consider replacing it with a better one No digital meter The paddle cover is only on the right side ( there is no paddle cover on the left side- so the bike is not the same as you see from the right side) paddle and seat quality are not good

BROKE AFTER 1 USE - AND NO REPLIES FROM COMPANY TO FIX
GETTING THE BIKE OUT THE BOX AND SETTING IT UP, IT FELT LIKE A SOLID PURCHASE, I IMMEDIATELY PUT IT TO USE, DONE AROUND AN HOUR ON THE BIKE, NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER UNTIL THE LAST FEW MINUTES, THE PEDAL FELT SLIGHTLY LOOSE. WHEN I WAS DONE I NIPPED UP THE PEDAL AND THAT WAS THAT. THE NEXT NIGHT WHEN I WENT TO USE THE BIKE THE RIGHT PEDAL HAD THAT HORRIBLE WOBBLE ON IT AS IT COMES ROUND ON EACH ROTATION. SO I TOOK THE PEDAL OFF, TO CHECK THE THREADS ETC, ALL SEEMED OKAY. TRYING TO SCREW THE PEDAL BACK ON, I NOTICED IT WASNT GOING ON STRAIGHT, AND AS I WAS ONLY DOING IT FINGER TIGHT I KNEW I HADNT CROSS THREADED IT. SO OFF CAME THE PEDAL AGAIN, ONCE USING A TORCH I COULD SE THE THREAD ON THE INSIDE OF THE CRANK WAS ALMOST BARE AS IF IT HAD BEEN CROSS THREADED 1000 TIMES. THE CRANK IS MADE OF A MUCH SOFTER METAL THAN THE PEDAL AND ITS JUST DESTROYED ITSELF. I SEE THAT MANY PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AS ME, AND NO ONE GETS AN ANSWER BACK FROM AMAZON OR SUNNY HEALTH, PRETTY DISGUSTING REALLY. SO THAT'S WHY I GIVE THIS 1 STAR. SHOCKING.

Needs better parts
Bike came with all parts which should have been an easy assembly. Unfortunately the right pedal would not thread into the right crank arm. Therefore I have not been able to use the bike which is very disappointing. I have complained to the manufacturer but they're unable to send any spare parts due to covid-19 and California being on a lockdown. A neighbour also bought the bike and had the same issue with the left pedal.

Yes, I mulled over several spin bikes, so I'm aware of how important these reviews can be in the decision process. Looked for new and on Craigslist, refurbished, etc. Almost got either the Peloton, Echelon, Bowflex C6 a refurbished Keiser and the Schwinn ic4. But, during my constant obsessed reviewing process, and having taken several spin classes, I narrowed my desires to 5 things: Sturdiness. Noise level. Price. Price. Speed of delivery. Sturdiness was based on the weight the machine could hold. I'm 5'10, 200lbs, but I know I can be gentle and then gorilla-is so the bike had to be strong. Noise Level. Although I have it on my patio, and where I live is a bit noise isolated already, I dont like to hear any fitness machine Im working on. Price. I wanted to feel like what I was paying for was a bargain and comparable to many higher end bikes. Price. I didn't want to spend money on something I'd also use in a gym and Amazon had a special monthly payment thingy that made it a cool way to pay for the bike. Speed of delivery: Although when I initially ordered it, it was supposed to get to me in five days which changed to two weeks due to Covid-19 issues, it was still faster than any other of those bikes outside of the refurbished ones off Craigslist. And I was really impatient. Had Bowflex or Schwinn said I can have it in less than a week, I'd prob went with one of them. Conclusion: This bike is really cool. It's only been a month so keep that in mind when reading this. But it is sturdy, really really quiet, and you can sway left to right without worry. I not sure if I'd get this if I were taller than 6'2" with long legs because I think it may be a leg issue problem. Not sure. The bike was really easy and simple to assemble (less than 45 mins) and it took longer taking it out of the packaging than assembling. I place my iPad on the bars (bars have a nice, soft yet sturdy feel) as you can see and the case has a strap that holds it around the bar. I tried a clamp/ipad holder but didnt like placement. Prob easier to just watch tv or something. There is good resistance although changing levels is ehhh especially when in climbing mode because it takes a bit dexterity to lean down and increase or decrease tension. The pedals are cool (only used cages so far) and will prob get shoes with clips soon. The ones I have need SPD to fit and I dont like em anyway so Im not gonna use em. The monitor is ok. I use the it for cadence and compared my Heart rate to my Apple Watch. The magnetic resistance is smooth and I dig it. The bike could use a brake though but since the pedals are so fluid, stopping is simple. The bike is actually nicer and more professional looking in person. I know its hard to tell buying online, and if you haven't rode the one youre reviewing, its hard to know. I had never heard of Sunny until I start looking for a bike and I was biased towards Schwinn, Spinning, and all the other name brands. I still am, but after purchasing this, I'm glad I was open to it. I started using the Peloton app, but now use other spin cycle youtube videos. Since I am a trainer, I kinda can create my own workout, and some of the coaches on those workout apps talk way too much (for my taste) but I'm sure many will find that helpful and motivational. All in all, I say do it and if you are gonna get a bike for use 2-4 times per week, invest in one that can accommodate at least 50lbs above your weight, is quiet, and you'll get your money's worth (2x/week x $20 spin class)=$1920yr. Imagine that.

I was looking for a straight forward exercise bike without the tech or monitor because I'm not interested in knowing my heart rate, distance, speed or timer, nor am i interested in online classes with someone reeling a list of motivational clichés to keep me going (you know the brand name). I purchased this on 22/12/2022 and paid £159.10 sold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L then a couple of days later notices the price hiked up to £329.99 glad I'm brought this when I did now, plus there isn't a warranty on this outside USA I'm in the UK. Setup was easy to do and the tools were included, but keep hold of the manual as it has instructions for maintenance required for daily-weekly and monthly including belt tightening should a problem arise. Also Sunny have some maintenance videos on YouTube to help you with removing the felt/leather pads for oiling but you can also use a clean wire brush to rough the leather up a bit for extra friction. So having used this for 1 week now I cannot fault this exercise bike it has been silent to use. I set a 45 minute timer on my echo dot and the bike is Infront of the bedroom TV and I watch indoor cycling on YouTube so its like having a cycle simulator and its easier and safer as its winter months with cold dark mornings to roll out of bed and use this set up (cycling around the alps LOL) than dragging myself outside in the wintry conditions. Overall I'm pleased.

The magnetic resistance on this unit is great, the assembly was very straightforward and the bike is pretty sturdy. There are 3 people in my family using this bike ranging from 5' 7" to 6' 0" and we all can easily adjust to a good riding position that is comfortable. Having rode a few "spin" style bikes this one may be slightly noisier than some models that would cost a good thousand more, but honestly it is a really quiet machine. This one feels just fine and will definitely challenge most people. Also the SPD and the cage are really cool to have combined on the pedal and very functional.
